Apparently at least 3 GA counties including 2 Atlanta collar counties are done counting for the night.

We may see it flip Biden tonight, but I don't see how they can call it tonight. Apparently there are somewhere around 8,000 military ballots outstanding, so Trump could make up a small margin there.

I wanted to use up my annual post for this important question.

Assuming a Biden win, is impeachment a legit option to consider for these last few months of the Trump presidency? I would be worried about making the guy a martyr to his base, but if he's going to spew this [expletive] all the way till inauguration day, doesn't it just rile people up more and make it worse when he does leave?

I thought the electors for a state were based on who won the presidential vote in that state so any electors for Biden states would be selected by Democrats

The custom of allowing recognized political parties to select a slate of prospective electors developed early. In contemporary practice, each presidential-vice presidential ticket has an associated slate of potential electors. Then on Election Day, the voters select a ticket and thereby select the associated electors.[10]

Candidates for elector are nominated by state chapters of nationally oriented political parties in the months prior to Election Day. In some states, the electors are nominated by voters in primaries the same way other presidential candidates are nominated. In some states, such as Oklahoma, Virginia, and North Carolina, electors are nominated in party conventions. In Pennsylvania, the campaign committee of each candidate names their respective electoral college candidates (an attempt to discourage faithless electors). Varying by state, electors may also be elected by state legislatures or appointed by the parties themselves.[89]

If we were talking about a margin of a couple electoral votes, then you always have the fear of a rogue elector. It isn't going to be nearly close enough for that to be of concern.

When I was watching MSNBC earlier they said that Democratic election officials in Pennsylvania told Biden officials that based on the timing of the votes coming out and the percentages they expect it to flip there at 3:00-4:00 am
