While many of us would like to see Trump et al pay for their crimes something good may come of it in the form of more checks and balances on the executive branch. With a favorable Senate, I've no doubt we'll see legislation passed to address some the issues Trump' administration revealed. This time around we got a crime family consisting of Fredo's, may not be so fortunate the next time, we could end up a Vito or Michael.

...Shinkle rejected Thomas' characterization that the election ran smoothly. "Smoothly is not accurate at all," Shinkle said.

I may be mistaken but, was it not Republican poll watchers who were responsible for any of disturbances which occurred?

This might be as close as we get to a concession. I doubt he wrote it.

I think the hair dye flop sweat and deranged deep state rant was the dose of reality that finally did it for Trump. He's not crazy, just self-absorbed. I wonder if he's going to sue Rudy to get the $20K/day fees back. Now comes the pardon parade and eventual retreat to Maralago for the duration of his Presidency. Trump is going to immerse himself in a sycophant cocoon until the arrest warrants start to arrive from NY.

I'm not on board any of the harassment, threats she may have received but, wasn't she bound by her job description to release the funds, etc? Moreover, if she was loyal to our Country this should have never been a issue in the first place.

I'm on board with any and all threats and harassment made against corrupt public employees aiding and abetting a coup

I mean great but was the long rambling explanation necessary? Seems like she cares more about justifying her actions to the public. I mean I get it, she doesn’t want her public career to be over but too late for that

And yet he'll make tens of millions from it along with a lengthy stay on best seller's list. It's truly depressing until I remember that he'll inevitably lose that fortune too.

is horsefeathering Rahm Emanuel going to be the first huge miss of the Biden transition/presidency?

over the weekend - "let's float the idea of Rahm Emanuel for a cabinet position in the press"
literally everyone - "no, horsefeathers no, that would be unforgivably horrible"
today - "ok we hear you, let's float a lower level position for Rahm Emanuel now"

This move on take the higher road is why people continue to believe the nonsense about Obama, and the election it's damaging, not healthy. The solution to breaking up the cult is to get its members to start looking from the outside in, to question things.
