Promise made, promise most likely not kept. Should go well for Dems if this holds true.

My brain is not working very well today and I'm having trouble parsing this. Is the idea that Manchin(or a rotating cast of objectors) will obstruct Biden's agenda that folks will move on to the next alternative Rs will put forward(presumed to be worse than Trump), or is there a different angle that I'm not seeing?

Where's Trey Gowdy when you need him to conduct non-stop hearings that result in, checks notes.....nothing but further smearing the presumptive Dem presidential nominee.

The Dems shouldn't need Manchin for the $2k checks anyway. There were R's that would have voted for it. McConnell just wouldn't bring it to the floor.
