Yes

I was thinking along the lines of nuclear annihilation because the wrong world leader commented on the size of his hands so thankfully we've only gotten violent insurrections and near destruction of democracy.

Well, when you put that way, appears we got off "easy".

I'm mostly surprise he lasted the full term because he's such an unstable crybaby.

I am completely unsurprised that the fascist uprising turned to a violent coup attempt. I am mostly relieved it ended up being so incompetent

I would've guessed more military involvement. Sure we lost diplomatic status in the eyes of basically the entire world, did some really stupid trade/climate stuff and made the situation with Iran worse, but we somehow managed to not find a new war to start with the president being an insecure dummy being advised by hawks. Unless that happened and it was only the 4th worst thing to happen that day and I missed it.

if you listen to what the talking heads say about his generals, they've been averting a war(s) that Trump has wanted for years.

Have we talked about Lauren Boebert and her husband Jayson enough yet? Because I would like to draw everyone's attention to the following details of her personal life:

In January 2004, then 23 year old Jayson Boebert was out at a bowling alley with Boebert (who had turned 18 less than a month prior). Jayson was at the snack bar and overheard two girls discussing their tattoos. It's very important to note here that one of the girls was 17 at the time. It's less important to note that their names were Trisha and Erica, but that will become important down the road.

Anyways, Jayson, drunk, overhears their conversation and comes up to them that he has a "tattoo on his d*ck". After they, understandably, turned away, Jayson approached them again, undid his pants, and exposed himself to these two girls (one of which, again, was 17). The manager was notified, Jayson became belligerent, refused to leave, cops were called, an arrest was made. Jayson claimed he didn't actually expose himself, and instead just showed his thumb, which was refuted by the girls because "I know thumbs aren't 6 inches long."

(Another member of his party was underage and had an outstanding warrant for underage alcohol possession and was drunk at the time, he was also arrested....minor details in the grand scheme of things.)

I mentioned that their names were Trisha and Erica. This becomes important because in Trisha's victim statement, she quotes Jayson as saying to one of them: "well I have a tattoo with your name written on my d*ck". Lauren ended up marrying Jayson about 18 months later, and in those 18 months he also managed to rack up a misdemeanor domestic violence charge. From these facts, you can only conclude that her husband is a terrible garbage person, most likely had a relationship with Lauren while she was underage, and (most importantly, in some ways), has a tattoo of another girl's name on his penis.

They now own a bar called Shooters, in a town actually called Rifle, Colorado, where the main draw is that all the waitresses carry guns, and she is, for now at least, an elected member of Congress.

Thankfully most Americans these days are just loud mouthed cowards who talk a lot of isht but won’t dare put their money where their mouth is.

It’s a good thing our ancestors were the opposite.

This crap Cole is spouting about unity, impeachment only leading to further divide us, didn't matter that orange horsefeathers face was doing so for his whole term while especially turning it up the last three months, does it? Cole is type of GOP'er Biden must, if possible, ignore, cannot deal with that POS in good faith, ever.

The guy was blasted it's entirely possible he tattooed himself with whatever writing instrument was at hand. What drunk guy hasn't used this pick up method?

I'm just referring to that strange focus on the "big reveal" that he has another woman's name tattooed on his penis when he definitely does not.

Yes

I anticipated that he never would have made it four years. The fact that he did means it was worse than I expected. No country has ever been less prepared for a natural disaster like COVID.

I got into a "discussion" with one of these clowns who tried to invoke the events of 1776 to justify the actions taken by the radical right (which is pretty much everybody on the right) since the election. I simply asked if the phrase "No taxation without representation" rang a bell. They said yes, to which I sand, "Well, you have representation and they lost. The end." I walked away before they had a chance to spew their "rigged election" nonsense.

None of the charges will stick. I read that there was a ruling in the 1960s that overturned the conviction of Klansman that makes it almost impossible to convict Trump or any of the other people unless there is direct evidence that they planned and authorized what happened.
