Lost in the chaos of yesterday was the fact Trump refused to sign the release of the Democratic memo to be released publicly.

Ball is in the Democrats' court for their next move. I'm hoping they do what the GOP threatened to do if Trump didn't release the GOP memo and read it aloud on the congressional floor, which somehow avoids releasing classified information.

That's what innocent people do! No alarm bells. Is anyone surprised Bennidict Donald refused to release the memo?

man this memo thing just sums up this administration's complete incompetence perfectly.

draft partisan hack memo to push deep state conspiracy

hype said memo to watergate-level proportions

start movement making it seem like someone in power is trying to prevent the release of the memo even though you control entire govt

push storyline of public's right to know, transparency, etc

release memo, which is complete dud

realize dem rebuttal reveals TONS of bad stuff about you (who could have seen that coming??), refuse to release it, directly contradicting everything you said before

dems have "won" this thing in a hilarious rout. I'd just let it go at this point and let the public assume the worst about your memo. what a complete inability to even see like half a step ahead by GOP.

The first step toward ending the soccer-flop-style relationship between mainstream media and its right wing antagonists is for journalists to accept that the fight is over, and conservatives have won. There are many ways to gauge that victory, but the clearest illustration comes from Pew, which has studied the issue extensively and found that while liberal voters tend to get their news from a wide variety of sources, conservative voters overwhelmingly turn to a smaller number of right wing outlets, and seldom venture out of Fox News-dominated echo chambers to learn about political events.

Someday soon someone in the media is going to discover secret memos or notes showing the quid pro quo between this permanent tax cut for corporations and the "bonuses" handed out. This screams PR stunt. I hope the people don't fall for it.

Just look at what the corporations saved in taxes, and how much went to bonuses vs. how much went to stock buy-backs

There's nothing to "discover;" these companies were giving out one time the equivalent of a bunch of change they found in the couch and then acting like they should be praised for being so unbelievably generous. And then some of them even managed to also turn around and close locations/lay a bunch of people off right afterwards, too. Nothing was hidden; they just did it.

1. George Bush was the President for all of 2008
2. The Democrats lost the House in 2010
3. DACA wasn't created until 2012

My first thought was some Cubs fan photoshopped him sitting in front of the ivy at Wrigley.
