Fair enough, though Bill is worth bringing up when talking about Trump’s legion of accusers

The Knoblach story out of Minnesota is particularly infuriating. His daughter *did* tell people and *did* go to the police and still got told "well, it's weird, but dads will be dads."

There is no right away for women to respond to sexual assault for these people. None, short of just submitting.

If you want to see an example of an MRA petri dish, go to bleacher nation comments (if you have the stomach for it). All the "easily-made fake allegations", "people deserve a second chance", and good ol' "the truth is unknowable" takes are on full display.

I mean...yeah, those are bad takes that don’t need to be made. Men are horrible and the do horrible things, and when someone makes an accusation it must be taken seriously...but there are also a lot of horrible women who would make false allegations for all kinds of horrible reasons. Exhibit A:

The problem is that how seriously (or unseriously) to take an allegation is up to the discretion of the listener, and that’s nearly arbitrary. Morons will say moronic stuff in response to reasonable and credible claims and vice versa. Nothing can stop that.

That one fell apart within hours, iirc. Most false accusations do.

Yeah, I just wanted to see where that take was going. :dontknow:

The problem of victimized men is clearly under-appreciated. I've ceded the floor so more of those arguments can be made.

I was driving home from the grocery store today, and passed a Japanese family with a "Hillary for prison in 2016" sticker on their car.

I am still very confused by this. On several levels.
