Nadler wouldn't even act on a recommendation from a fellow committee member to cite Lewandowski for contempt. If this is the type of impotent stewardship of a committee investigation Dems are going to muster, I retract my demands for impeachment. I've been convinced a horsefeathers impeachment process would be worse than no impeachment at all. Jesus, these horsefeathers can't do anything right.

All these boot-licking scumbags will be fine, part 2 million. horsefeathers, Dina Powell and Gary Cohn never left the financial services elite and will never have to answer for the horsefeathers they enabled either; Mattis is selling a book after being tied-up in the Theranos mess, never having to answer for that, while refusing to shed light on Trump's foreign policy gaffes until a time of his choosing after the 2020 election; Sarah Huckabee-Sanders is probably going to be governor of Arkansas; etc., etc.

The testamony has been going much much better for the Dems as its been continuing. Lewandowski is getting talked into corners with nearly every question.

Doesn't matter. Whatever he says is FAKENEWS, the Republicans won't hold anyone accountable for anything, and the Dems will roll over so they don't come off as meanies

horsefeathers is getting way out of hand and the Democrats appear to be unwilling to use the power they have to curb Trumps abuse of power (which is an impeachable offense).

There is no way the 2020 election goes off without an incident.

I mean...ok, yeah, things have been out of hand for a long while now. But this whistleblower incident is something tangible. There is a phone call, probably with Putin, and he says something pretty majorly horsefeathers up. * There is more than likely a transcript of it. If the Trump administration refuses to turn it over, then add it to the impeachment pile (emoluments, hush money, other obvious obstructions). This is all a rerun of Nixon. Nixon was skating by until suddenly he wasn't. Its easy to get jaded about this stuff because the Dems are obviously a bunch of losers, but I don't even think they can screw this scenario up.

*It might be possible that Trump could politically survive whatever it was that he said to Putin, and that the admin is just continuing to illegally fight absolutely everything. We won't know until we see it, but the longer the admin draws this out, the worse its going to look, and his approval numbers will start dipping even further. That's best case scenario for Trump right now.

Also, subpoenas are now meaningless as there are no repercussions to defying them. Every Congressional committee on earth can demand whatever they want, and then Trump says “lol nope” and nothing happens.

making us government military/financial support contingent on a foreign nation providing dirt about a political opponent (biden) and his family is basically textbook corruption and bribery. giuliani should be jailed and trump should be impeached and hopefully executed.
