There is no way the 2020 election goes off without an incident.
The other shoe is going to drop soon.
I mean...ok, yeah, things have been out of hand for a long while now. But this whistleblower incident is something tangible. There is a phone call, probably with Putin, and he says something pretty majorly horsefeathers up. * There is more than likely a transcript of it. If the Trump administration refuses to turn it over, then add it to the impeachment pile (emoluments, hush money, other obvious obstructions). This is all a rerun of Nixon. Nixon was skating by until suddenly he wasn't. Its easy to get jaded about this stuff because the Dems are obviously a bunch of losers, but I don't even think they can screw this scenario up.
*It might be possible that Trump could politically survive whatever it was that he said to Putin, and that the admin is just continuing to illegally fight absolutely everything. We won't know until we see it, but the longer the admin draws this out, the worse its going to look, and his approval numbers will start dipping even further. That's best case scenario for Trump right now.
