I saw vegans and disability advocates flaming each other mercilessly on social media yesterday over whether it was morally allowable to eat chicken if you have a mental disability that makes it difficult to eat anything else.

I look at that, and I look at the way evangelical Christians are in love with Donald Trump, and I realize humanity is doomed.

TRUMP: None of these witnesses have first hand knowledge of anything. It’s all hearsay

DEMS: We would like to call witnesses with first hand knowledge

TRUMP: LOL no

People are trying to compare him to Obama and it's kinda insulting.

Note to big donors and important people in the Democratic Party -- stop trying to convince people to join the race. Stay the horsefeathers away Hillary...

We're happy with our choices for the most part. No, we don't need another moderate option or billionaire to join the fray. Thanks

So I have a friend that Im trying to convert from Trumpism. This dude is actually smart, there are just two hurdles that he’s unable to overcome. First and foremost, his political mind is fox news polluted (I actually got him to agree today to let me block fox news on his TV). Second, he’s never been enthusiastic about admitting his mistakes.

But he’s reachable. Im confident that even if I fail to get him to back impeachment/removal, at the very least I’ll be able to sway him away from voting Trump In 2020.

If you had a similar friend, what 1-3 articles from reputable sources would you show them to make them realize that they need to back removal? These articles would, ideally, do a good job of beating back Fox’s talking points about this.

I don't have any articles that tackle this head on(and I could be treading into 'I'm 14 and this is deep' territory), but more broadly than Trump/impeachment, I think the buzzword that comes through for me is the idea of fairness. So many people don't quite grasp that even though they or others have dealt with hardships, or that in various situations there is a way for individuals to avoid problems, that there isn't some cosmic level playing field that everyone is playing on. The more people that realize that we are always stacking the deck for someone, and we should be working to unstack it or help those with the deck stacked against them, the easier it is to speak to all the ways that happens(like President Grifter getting caught grifting).

I assume this was also meant as a swipe on Warren?

Romney falling on the sword hard to attack the opponent, either way. Kind of admirable in a funny way.

Hmm, debating whether I should say this or not...

I mean she doesn't look gross. I find her pretty attractive and I believe she competed in a beauty pageant in her younger days. I mean I wouldn't hit it (honestly), but I can't deny that she is kinda pretty.

Compared to OMC's lusting over Palin back in the day, this seems quaint.

Sarah Palin is just too dumb and isn't attractive enough to make up for it. You have to be like super model level attractive to counter how stupid she is IMO.

I never got the weird attraction some people had to Sarah Palin... Actually, Tina Fey as Sarah Palin was kinda hot, but I think Tina Fey is also very pretty.
