".... but that being said, i remain a proud member of the party which supported donald trump's presidency and continues to be silent or supportive of his undermining of american democracy!"

friendly reminder that the GOP has a razor-thin majority in the senate, and people like mitt could basically put an end to this if they went to mcconnell and told him that either the entire GOP stops supporting or at least condoning the garbage that trump is pulling, or he's leaving the GOP to be an independent, and will caucus with the democrats if the georgia elections give them a chance to hold a majority in the senate.

Isn't due diligence first year of law school maybe, even, Cliff Notes kind of material for anyone wishing to be an attorney?

Lin Wood is the lawyer for the Covington Catholic smirker and I don't know if he is attorney of record but I know he's involved and was practically on the first plane to see Kyle Rittenhouse. (edit - and Richard Jewell and JonBenet Ramsey's parents)

This is the scene where (at least) Andrew Giuliani was spreading virus for about 2 hours.

One can hope, it would be so on point if the lot of them tested positive.

Ok, so there are definitely smart people that know Republicans are all full of horsefeathers and yet still choose to be one. But as this type of idiotic stuff is more out in the open, and their complete [expletive] is more obvious to anyone with half a brain, is it going to be harder and harder over time for the GOP to attract smart people?

they can't attract emotionally intelligent people but they're locked in on people with other skill sets

Americans are strongly socialized to give in to the impulse to do whatever is best for you, personally, regardless of what it means for everyone else. As long as membership in the Republican party represent the opportunity to accrue money, influence and status, there will be smart people lining up to debase themselves.
