I kinda, sorta get what mojo is getting to, Re: The Good Place. That said, I still enjoy it too, and I also can't think of a more diverse cast on scripted tv, so I appreciate that aspect of it as well.

Yeah, top to bottom, I should adore this show in that hits basically all of my buttons. And I DO like it, but like on the level of something that I will forget to watch and then enjoy it when I rediscover it, and on paper it seems like this should be one of my favorites. If I had to describe it, I guess that it's almost TOO perfect? Like, there's no rough edges to the point that it seems soulless.

Yes, I know I'm weird. I should just shut up and enjoy the good TV show.

Our local CBS station has been turned off on DirecTV and UVerse for over two weeks while they negotiate their contract. Most of CBS is hot garbage, but this sucks during football season

Always a possibility, though the DVR is out of the question with that setup.

I'm gonna say it again re: Silicon Valley: the scene when Erlich is choking on his bong hit(s) and the dialogue continues for like a minute through his coughing fit is one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

TJ Miller leaving that show suuuuuuucks.

The Good Place was fantastic again last night. That show is so horsefeathering well written and creative.

Spoiler: show

I though the first two Nathan For You episodes were dissapointing, but Andy vs. Uber was amazing.

the chili one was disappointing outside of the CHILI and NOT CHILI buttons, but i agree completely that the other two have been excellent.
