Netflix has a documentary series on Joe Exotic out today... I saw the headline and photo and remember that it was a crazy story but I don't remember the exact details so I'm steering clear of looking at anything else until I watch.

30 Rock is another great one to binge over again if you haven't yet. Easily my favorite sitcom of the new millennium.

I've been trying to convince my girlfriend to start Cheers with me. I've seen most of it, she hasn't seen any of it. I try and tell her it's one of, if not the best, sitcoms of all time, but the thought of it doesn't appeal to her. I guess I'll have to start it without her.

Are there any Metalocalypse episodes you haven't seen? You are in luck, they are all up for streaming on adult swim.

It's daunting, man. It's great, but 12 (?) seasons is a lot to start fresh on

Great piece of trivia, though - Kelsey grammar won 3 Emmys for playing Frasier Crane in 3 different shows

And some of his best work was playing himself on 30 Rock.

It's a masterclass in joke writing and delivery. Very rarely does a joke not land on that show.

I’ve gone this whole thread today thinking everyone was discussing 3rd Rock From the Sun. Wow.

We watched it the other week. I have no shame. It was great trash TV.

Now we're watching The Circle. Also great. Netflix is killing it with the "hate-watching" quality reality TV.

Holy horsefeathers. I saw this guy once. He was at a mall in Effingham, IL. His show was bizarre, and at one point he was making a bunch of first graders promise to a baby tiger cub that they would never do drugs.

I have to watch this.

I just talked to a buddy who was there about it. He said his favorite part of the performance was when Joe was trying to explain what it was like to be on drugs, and he told them to imagine being locked in a dark closet for ten years. To a bunch of six year olds.

Looked it up, not exactly true. Nominated twice for Cheers. Several nominations and wins for Fraiser, and he played Frasier on a crossover episode of Wings that he was nominated for, but didn't win.

During the struggle to find something to watch last night, I decided to just throw on Cheers and be done with it. She didn't know it was a sitcom, she just knew "It was about a bar". We watched the first couple of episodes. She loved it because a) it was funny and b) it was easy to zone out and enjoy without giving it too much attention and feel like you didn't miss anything
