Understandable. It's only one epsidode, of course, but I feel like they nailed every single aspect so far.

No Emmy noms for Jessica Jones.

No nomination for Rhea Seehorn from Better Call Saul.

I really, really liked it and can't wait for the rest, but I'm kinda worried as to what the outcome will be. It feels like basically any effort to explain it away as him actually being innocent will seem like a stretch. Yeah, you can point to the huge red flags of him having no blood on him or his clothes from a very, very messy crime scene, but other than that, it seems like it would kind of be a cop-out. I'm kinda hoping for something like the truth remains nebulous and nobody really knows what happened.

Watched the first episode of Mr Robot last night. My wife was skeptical going into it, but we both came out hooked.

Between that and Stranger Things being released on Netflix today, definitely have some binge-able tv to watch.

I watched all 8 episodes of Stranger Things last night on Netflix. Oh my god what a ride that was! Some of the best child acting I've ever seen. Amazing soundtrack. A total homage to Spielberg, King, Carpenter... Its like a combo of ET/Super 8/The X-Files... So, so, SO GOOD. Don't read any more about it just go watch it!

Also, I've almost totally forgotten about The Night Of since I saw the first ep what feels like a month ago. Such a weird strategy, air an amazing pilot but then wait multiple weeks to release the next one.

I think it's pretty smart; it's a slow burn of a show, and it's only an episode miniseries. This gives plenty of time for word to spread and for HBO to actually pick up some viewers/signups to see the rest. If they just ran it 8 weeks in a row there's a good chance it would spend most or all of its run mostly being ignored.

I know it's summer and all but I thought the golden age of television was supposed to offer and least one must watch show at all times.

There's not a single show on right now I'm eager to watch. I guess I'll have to get started on Mr. Robot.

My wife and I finished this tonight. It was really good, but . . . (barely spoilerish)

Spoiler: show
I think they're going to have to go in a very different direction next season. Even though they tried to leave some loose threads to pick up, I'm worried that trying to create a direct sequel would fall very short. Maybe a continuation of the theme with a mostly different cast and situation?

Between cinematography and music, Mr. Robot has such a Breaking Bad feel to it. We're going to see more and more TV shows dedicate themselves to this and that's a great thing.

I've seen a new person talk about how amazing this show is each day for the past week on Facebook. It has jumped to the top of my list.

I'm 1+ episodes in and it's already my favorite current show.
