Seriously lol? The Ranch on Netflix? You liked it?

It's decent and has a few laughs. It's not an all time great or anything.

this show is weird as horsefeathers, but I think I may watch a few more episodes after she leaves

Definitely better than expected. MacFarlane isn't great as an actor, but the premise is fun enough.

Other new shows;
The Deuce was good, but holy hell that was a long pilot episode.

The Deuce was pretty good, but Maggie, honey, you don't need to be naked in everything you do. In fact, we'd prefer it if you weren't

Anyone else here excited for season 3 of "Mr. Robot"? I really like the show, but season 2 was so damn frustrating. It honestly was just a long tease for season 3. Like you can't have a "missing time" portion all the way back in season 1 that remains unresolved going into season 3.

Btw, I highly recommend it for anyone that is curious about a show that accurately portrays hacking for once. It involves a hell of a lot more than hacking, but I don't want to spoil anything...

I'm hoping it'll be good, but most of season 2 was a horsefeathering turd.

Accurately portrays hacking while simultaneously making it impossible to really follow because you filter everything through an insane narrator.

There were parts of season 2 I liked, and the twist was definitely a good one, but there were long stretches where it just felt punishing to watch. I'm hoping for a different tone to season 3.

One of the biggest drop offs in quality between season one and two in TV history. Wonder what the record holder is...

That's a good one. Holy horsefeathers did that show go in the crapper.

I feel like the show would have been much better as a limited run mini-series.

Mr. Robot, not Heroes.

Heroes fell into the classic trap of giving everyone super-powers. Once you do that, the show is no longer interesting.

Ah, yes; the classic TV trope of giving everyone super powers. I knew it was time for Cheers to come to and end after Woody accidentally blasted the bar in two with his heat vision.

There was obvious drop off in both True Detective and Twin Peaks, but they were still enough-better-than the rest of TV that I could still watch it without getting mad. Heroes season 2 was infuriating, and season 3 was almost unwatchable.

Spoiler: show
And specifically for season 1 of True Detective, I felt like it pulled a Lost with its last episode. It gave vague clues that you could run with and make conspiracies and debate with your friends and all that fun stuff, but in the end it was just a Buffalo Bill type with a few connects?! ...and then Cohle randomly finds God!?! horsefeathers OFF!!! The last episode was Season 2 was BETTER than the last episode of Season 1. There, I said it.

I wouldn't count Twin Peaks because the first 8 episodes are good as hell, and the last 5 are great, too. Admittedly, the middle 10 are a pretty brutal slog, but there's a lot worth watching. You can basically skip those middle episodes and not miss much and end up with a great 13-episode season.
