Most of the failures I had to look up...Heath Ledger started in a TV series called Roar? The horsefeathers?

Wasn't it just 21 years of promos? Other people have noted the failure thing but I'm pretty sure that was just a straight op documentary of joe buck promoting whichever show was being promoted that year.

Yea, seems so. Though most of the successes in that were for season premieres of established shows.

Probably so. Nevertheless, it’s not hard to get the impression that the video is about failed shows because damn, Fox has a crappy track record of shows apparently. Which shows lasted on there? American Idol, X-factor, Glee, New Girl, and Gotham?

Ya I think Gotham and New Girl were the only “new shows” that were successes unless I missed a few.

I mean, the first one, New York Undercover, wasn't that one of the many, MANY Dick Wolf spinoffs that inexplicably was around for years?

Both of which were established products by the time of those promos. The one for That 70’s Show was in 2003. 70’s Show had been on for five seasons at that point. I said new shows.

Definitely the American Idol one was established too then... thought you meant any established shows.

I can't imagine their track record is worse than any other network, except maybe CBS.

https://www.spin.com/2017/11/on-cinema- ... der-trial/

It has been a strong week for high-concept comedy on television, with last Thursday’s emotionally resonant movie-length finale of Nathan For You and the cathartic conclusion of HBO’s Vice Principals this past weekend. Now Tim Heidecker, Gregg Turkington, and the team behind Adult Swim’s On Cinema have thrown their hat into the ring with a bizarre multi-part TV event.

If you're talking about the NBC time travel show from last season, i've got some good news for you. It was un-canceled like the day after it was canceled.

In the process of watching Seinfeld from the beginning; currently in the middle of season 2. What's everyone's favorite season?

I can't say that I've ever seen them in order. Syndication blurs them all together

Are the Nathan episodes (at least the past few seasons) available on Netflix/Amazon/etc?

I’m sick and won’t be going into work tomorrow.
