so season 1 of Better Call Saul just released on the Netflix app. I'm pretty certain i'm going to love it, but on a scale of 1 to 10 what score would you give it? this is probably going to be a case of when i wait to watch a free show on netflix for the first season and then end up loving it so much i buy the next season's episodes (e.g. Rectify, The Knick).

10. so much better than it has any right to be. i expected to love it because it has bob odenkirk and is related to breaking bad things, but it's a legitimately great show on its own two feet.

Yeah. I figured just due to Bob and the people involved and the world it was set in it would be a fun little spinoff that went 2-3 seasons. It ended up being so damn great I want it to last as long as BB.

Larry David will host SNL this week, and Bernie Sanders will cameo.

Two episodes into Angie Tribeca and I'm loving it, but like it was said, I'm not sure a full season of slapstick comedy will keep being this funny. I like it now but I can already tell I may tire of it by episode 5 or 6. Hoping I'm wrong.

Funny you say that because I think episodes 6 & 7 were my favorites, and I liked 6-10 better than 1-5 as a whole.

Better Call Saul was as good as I hoped and as good as you all said - thank you! And my prediction was correct that I'll end up buying the season 2 episodes because I simply cannot fathom knowing there are new episodes to watch and not watching them.

Basic cable is included with my HOA and I really just can't see me ponying up the money for the cable box/DVR because I watch so much on NF/Hulu/Showtime/HBO/etc. streaming. And, of course during the summer my free hours of TV during the week are dedicated to the Cubs. But damn if it wouldn't have been nice to have season 2 DVR'ed knowing I would probably love the show and roll right into those after the next two episodes.

Last night's episode of SNL was so fun that I didn't even care some trust fund kid and the band his parents bought him (actually, I liked the bandmates, not the singer) was blowing chunks trying to be Justin Hawkins and many other better lead singers.

I don't know what the consensus on this SNL cast is, but I like them - especially Cecily Strong.

So, new show runners for The Muppets and it's painfully not funny now. Good job

The Cubs’ transaction list under Epstein and Hoyer reads like a work of fiction, a wish-fulfillment list composed in hindsight.
