Written by The Wire creator Simon and longtime collaborator George Pelecanos and directed by Michelle MacLaren (Breaking Bad), The Deuce follows the story of the legalization and subsequent rise of the porn industry in New York’s Times Square from the early 1970s through the mid-1980s, exploring the rough-and-tumble world that existed there until the rise of HIV, the violence of the cocaine epidemic, and the renewed real estate market ended the bawdy turbulence.
Holy horsefeathers, yes. Sign me up right now.

The new Sherlock was great. I really loved the maybe/sorta twist at the very, very end. That put a massive smile on my face.

I thought it was a big pile of horsefeathers. Stephen Moffat really needs to settle on only horsefeathering up one of the shows he's running.

Meh, the show itself was sorta all over the place now that I think about it. The final seconds still made me smile tho.

Dority's fight with the Captain was so good. Forgot how good it was from the first time I watched. My wife gasped when he eye gouged him haha. I wonder if visiting Deadwood is worth it? Probably just a horsefeathers tourist trap I'm guessing.

It's nothing special. Went there when I did the whole Mt. Rushmore/Crazy Horse/Little Big Horn thing. Pretty touristy.

i almost did this in the girls thread but i didn't want to distract from girlstalk so i am bringing it here instead.
list your five favorite currently running shows. you don't have to put them in order, but you can only list five. if you put a sixth one i won't read it. currently running means generally ongoing (though one of mine is kind of a toss-up in that regard), it doesn't have to be in the middle of a season right now.

*I still haven't watched either season of Fargo for reasons IDK, but I'm 99% sure I'd love it and it would likely be on this list replacing one of my 5.
