what’s your take on the nudity? a few friends found it to be a bit much.

There is a TON of nudity lol. It's like an HBO show. Yeah, it can be a bit much. Don't watch it around anyone who is bothered by excessive nudity is my advice. It did bother me, but it makes some sense given the story I guess?

FYI, Netflix changed the US title of this to the shockingly bad 'Money Heist'.

A list of all of the 131 reasons that Dr David Banner hulked out in the old tv series...

http://kennethjohnson.us/HulkOutList.html

Being hit with a blast of steam in the face while trying to turn off the nuclear
reactor that is melting down

Receiving a lethal injection, and then having the person say, "Oh. I just gave
you a lethal injection. Sorry, David."

Being pushed down a mountainside by a bigfoot impersonator

Dealing with a pesky operator in a phone booth ("I DON'T HAVE TWENTY-FIVE
CENTS!!!")

39. Somehow locking himself in an old, dark basement, and then nearly
electrocuting himself (really has to be seen to be believed)

40. Falling into the churning water of a boathouse, and then inexplicably being
repeatedly carried over the paddlewheel (this one is stranger than 39)

Being stuck in a cab in New York rush hour traffic - "You don't understand, I
have to be there by 4:00!" - "Hey, mac, it's rush hour, we ain't gettin' there til five,
so relax." - "BUT I HAVE TO BE THERE BY FOUR!!!"

The Fort Bend County Sheriff's office is joining LIve PD beginning this Friday.

This is the same sheriff's office that arrested a woman who had a "horsefeathers Trump and horsefeathers you for voting for him" decal on the back window of her truck.

This should go well.

imb, I feel your pain. I don't know when the horsefeathers the back of my neck inexplicably entered wolfman territory, but I've been reduced to just running the razor back there each weekend out of habit so that one day I don't look at a passing reflection and a do a triple take.

Sure, Dominic West’s accent was as inconsistent as a plate of fried lake trout, but it’s hard to imagine anyone else playing the role of The Wire’s resident horsefeathers. West captured the humor and pathos, as well as whatever bit of magic it took to make someone so insufferable so easy to root for. But as Jonathan Abrams’s oral history of the series, All The Pieces Matter: The Inside Story of The Wire, reveals, West’s casting was no sure thing. In fact, as an excerpt from the book published in GQ makes clear, creator David Simon was initially eyeing chameleonic character actor John C. Reilly for the role.

So I was watching "Everything Sucks!", which is set in 1996, and I noticed bags of "Cooler Ranch" and "Nacho Cheesier" Doritos. Anyone remember when they were named that? Anyways, seeing them made me curious about how television productions acquire products that no longer exist or have changed. Anyone have any idea?

I liked Everything Sucks!, personally. I am a sucker for 90's nostalgia, though. It had it's fair share of flaws but solid overall.

And yes, being a former great big fat kid I remember "Cooler Ranch" (though I didn't like them) specifically. "Nacho Cheesier" is more of a mystery to me but I assume it was what it was called for some period of time in the 90's.

For me, there was a drop-off after Nina was killed-off, but I will watch this through the end. I always considered it a shame this show didn't get (much) more run early on...it was so horsefeathering good the first 3 seasons especially.

Still very, very good, but this last season ran into the same thing that, IMO, shows like Mad Men and The Sopranos ran into with their penultimate season, too: the creators had a clear idea of how to wrap things up, but then their networks backed up the money truck and persuaded them to do an extra season. In all 3 cases, what we got isn't bad at all because the shows are so great, but the end result of those second to last seasons is that they can't help but feel like everything is mostly in a holding pattern because they're saving all of the really big/good stuff for the home stretch.

So, basically, if you like the show, you'll like the past season, but it's really just setting things up for the final season.

And man, if FX doesn't release a BR set when the series is done, I will be annoyed as horsefeathers. The DVD releases (season 2 especially) are some of the worst quality DVD releases of a modern TV show I've seen.

It was a more enjoyable show when it was more fantasy and less true to current events.

since i'm currently in a cast and was instructed to be immobile all weekend, i was finally able to binge season 4 of halt and catch fire. just want to echo everything that i think Mojo and CW11 said a few pages back. that show just got better and better as it went on. i really loved the dynamics between the five main characters.

i also enjoy that

Spoiler: show
the show had those characters come up with basically every idea related to computers and the internet from 1983 through 1994 and it never really felt too contrived

also closing in on finishing season 5 of the sopranos. Test Dream and Long Term Parking, in their own unique ways, both knocked me on my ass.

oh and those americans trailers have me really excited.
