This reminded me of a radio ad I heard for the local NBC affiliate. They were bragging about getting the syndication rights to Show The Big Bang Theory which they touted as "The funniest TV show ever"

Um, no. Not even a little.

But the main dude is *wink win* autistic. How *hilarious* is that?

Is Moss supposed to be autistic on the IT Crowd? He actually was very funny.

Man, Sharp Objects was really good. Big Little Lies director killed it this time, and it was perfectly cast.

It was also extremely difficult to watch at times due to subject matter

Edited to add: I think the miniseries format would have been a much better vehicle for Gone Girl, which kinda stunk

We've recently watched Sharp Objects, Big Little Lies and the Sinner, and other than confusing one for another and constantly calling it Sharper Objects by mistake, I liked all three. The ending of SO was a total "I KNEW IT!!!" moment.

maniac is like legion mixed with inception and the leftovers, but somehow kind of dull and cheesy. I generally dislike emma stone, but she completely outperformed jonah hill in this.

I'm about halfway through, and at the end of every episode I have the same reaction of 'I'm not sure this is good, but I think I'm still intrigued'.

It reminds me a fair bit of Stay, a movie with Ewan McGregor, Ryan Gosling, and Naomi Watts that is about as confusing, but a bit more satisfying.

Not too much. I've watched all of the seasons, and its fine I guess. I dunno, whatever. I think the first season was the best, and apart from Tom Hardy scenes, the show is fairly forgettable, imo.

Yeah, the quality of the cast vs. the actual quality of the show is skewed WAY off.

Season 2 of Big Mouth was just as good as the first. And Season 2 of American Vandal was also great. It wasn't nearly as funny as the first season, but it was still just as compelling and well done.

While everyone's hearts are breaking over BCS' season ending, I'm also bummed that this week also saw the end of a stellar season of The Venture Bros., and the, IMO, surprisingly awesome Lodge 49.

I was pretty critical of a lot of Season 2 of Westworld, even thought it was cool and entertaining.

I'm a fan of this Alt-Shift-X's dood's Game of Thrones stuff. He pointed out some of the inconsistancies I noticed, and a LOT more.
