Was not really serious.

Knew it would be good. But finally got around to watching it.

I saw a preview for it and decided it looked like hokey schlock. I haven't seen an episode, and refused to believe it could be good.

Now that it is clear that the show's title is a reference to a Twilight Zone episode...I KIND of wonder if I misjudged it.

I will never not give any Michael Schur helmed show a chance.

Did anybody else watch The Masked Singer? Really, really stupid, but fun. They only revealed one of the 6 people so far. I'm pretty sure about one other one though.

I did just out of curiosity and I think I will actually keep watching. I'm almost embarrassed to admit that. I will put my guesses in spoilers in case others haven'tr watched and still want to.

Spoiler: show
My guess for Peacock was Hasselhoff but after reading another forum I think it's Corey Feldman.
Hippo I thought was Von Miller but of course it turned out to be Antonio Brown.
Monster I think is Seal.
Unicorn I am guessing Paris Hilton.
Deer seems to me to be Terry Bradshaw.
I wasn't sure on Lion. Thought maybe Gwyneth Paltrow but again reading on another forum has me convinced it is Rumer Willis.

This won't help any...

The singing competition featuring elaborately costumed celebrities also had the second-best premiere among adults 18-49 of any series (excluding sports) this season. Its 2.9 rating in the demo trails only This Is Us' season premiere (3.0). The Masked Singer also gathered 9.21 million viewers, the best debut by a Fox series this season by more than a million people and ranking fifth among series premieres across all the broadcast networks.

That show was profoundly boring and bad. Painful. My wife and I made it through the first two acts. And I am not a TV snob. I watch some really bad stuff.

I'm four episodes into Patriot. It seems a LOT like Barry, but somehow darker while sometimes pretending to be a comedy. Am I the only one that also likes this show? It seems like it might be amazing.

Masked Singer seems like it will be something I watch as a YouTube clip occasionally. Three minutes of a celebrity in costume singing while you try to guess is about right. An hour of show being dragged out of it sounds miserable.

I'm not sure if it's been discussed here yet, but Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat on Netflix is outstanding. It's only 4 episodes (one for each of the elements), and it's a joy to watch. My wife an I just finished it yesterday, and I've now ordered the book, and I'm in the process of making the ragù sauce featured in the first episode right now (it's finishing its final simmer as I type).

The girl in those new TurboTax commercials if one of my friends from Second City and I've been wanting to shoot a pilot for a sitcom with her for a long time. Should probably explore that soon before she gets to big for my low budget indie projects.

At a bar and didn't realize how often they are on. I had heard about it but tonight was the first time I saw them. They're everywhere. I'm jealous, she probably made 6-figures on these commercials.
