did people here like season 2? i enjoyed season 1 a lot but never felt compelled to watch s2 for some reason.

Yeah I watched the first episode or two of season 2 and just haven't gotten around to watching the rest of it. I do plan on catching up though....at some point.

Same. I keep forgetting about it when I'm thinking of things to watch.

I'm half way through season one of Trigger Warning With Killer Mike on Netflix. I wasn't sure if he'd be able to pull it off, but I love RTJ, so my wife and I gave it a shot. So far it's been excellent. Episode 3, where he tries to help gang members establish their brand is the standout so far. Pornographic vocational training was also pretty amusing. Anyway, I recommend you check it out:

One of the Crips in the Crip-A-Cola commercial is a black Boomhauer, it's really weird:

Sam Lloyd, aka Ted from Scrubs, has cancer.

As his headaches got worse, he went to a doctor and got a CT scan that revealed a mass in his brain. An attempt to remove the tumor then revealed that cancer had come from his lungs and had spread to his liver, spine, and jaw as well.

I'm curious:

Seems like the episodic format would serve the book better than the movie was able to do.

Its one of my top 3 books, so I'm obliged to give it a try. This might be how Hulu gets its hooks into me.

I really like the show, and I’ve never really been a big fan of Pete.

The problem with making Catch 22 into a movie or TV show is how to express the funny writing. Having a narrator like Arrested Development might do the trick.

Man, don't wait on Hulu if you've dumped cable. I easily watch it a lot more than Netflix these days.

Same. I find myself often going days or weeks between watching anything on Netflix these days.

Though their live TV offering suuuuuuuuuuucks if you're considering that.

Yeah, I don't bother with the live stuff since they get the latest episode the day after airing of almost anything I want to watch as the season is going.

Netflix I pretty much only go into the day or weekend after some Netflix original I want to see premiers, and then I forget it exists. Their selection of non-Netflix stuff is so terrible.

Can we use the Hulu Live for watching Cubs games though?

Maybe?

I have no idea how it actually works.

Yes, but the streaming quality sucks ass.

All streaming options are varying levels of terrible. I have tried them all for extended periods of time, and I have settled on YouTube TV. They sometimes pump out some decent original material (Cobra Kai, Wayne) and the sports offerings are pretty good. The reliability of the stream is so much better than the rest.

I have dumped cable. The reason I haven't gotten Hulu is that I'm worried I'll watch it a lot more than Netflix in the future.

I think Catch-22 is an impossible book to adapt, and I wish tv/film would just leave it alone. It's a masterpiece in its medium, and I doubt there's much a script can offer. That said, I'll probably watch it, just so I can hate post about it on Facebook.
