When I lived in NYC I knew a a person who worked with Rose and he said Rose was a hard drinker and threw crazy parties. This was in the late 90s.

Really? I avoid the CBS morning show specifically because I’ve always found him creepy as hell.

Yeah, I didn't realize there was this huge love for Charlie Rose. That John Oliver bit I linked is one of a bunch of them they do on that show, and he's always very "dirty old man"-ish. I'm not gonna say that I had any real suspicions about anything like what's being reported, but I'm also not exactly "shook" by it.

I'm also not seeing Charlie rose as some shocking development.

He's not as known as spacey or Weinstein in the perv department, but it wasn't out of nowhere either.

I keep waiting for ESPN to take their hit. There’s been a few articles in the past insinuating that many ESPN personalities have been inappropriate or worse. I’m wondering when the flood gates will open on them.

they've done an okay job of weeding some pervs out over the years. Steve Phllips, Harold Reynolds, etc. I'm sure there are more that we don't know about, but I don't see the network as having a culture of hiding or defending creeps

mike tirico was suspended at one point, but he did some pretty unsavory stuff and still has a big-time announcing gig.

I saw a tweet that said lawmakers are bracing for a second wave of revelations of assault and bad behavior.

Jen Sterger said a few weeks ago that there are still people on the air at ESPN that harassed her.

Disney Animation head John Lasseter is taking a leave of absence from Pixar after acknowledging "painful" conversations and unspecified "missteps," he wrote in a memo to staff on Tuesday obtained by The Hollywood Reporter.

Lasseter is best known as one of the founders of Pixar, which began as a part of the graphics group at LucasFilm. Along with Ed Catmull, he popularized CGI in animation with early films like Toy Story, A Bug's Life and Monster's Inc.
