What better to wash down a carne asada burrito than a pint of Guinness, amirite?

Yes! Carlos O'Kelly's was always my choice. Their near demise (there's still like 10, I checked) was a real blow.

It's been a couple of years since I've been there, but Social is a legit great restaurant in Rockford.

McDonald's is hoping a big new breakfast sandwich will help bring in more customers.

Triple Breakfast Stacks will hit menus on November 1. They're modified versions of McDonald's popular Egg McMuffin -- they will include two slices of American cheese, two sausage patties, bacon and an egg, The sandwiches are available on a McMuffin, biscuit, or McGriddles cakes.

This is literally the least amount of effort one can put into "enhancing" your breakfast menu.

"How do we make our breakfast more enticing, Jenkins?"
"I don't know, double up the toppings"
"Jenkins... you're a mad horsefeathering genius!"

I mean, I'm not a fan of McD's sausage...I'd rather more egg and bacon, personally...but I can't fault the concept.

This is funny, they took an item that's been on Japan's breakfast menu for the better part of a decade and now it's a new menu item for us. In Japan it was called the Mega Muffin. There was also the Mega Terayaki and Mega Mac which was just an abomination against god with 4 patties.

[expletive] jokes aside, he says right there what it is (and it isn't mayo)

How to make it: I broiled a wiener, then griddled the bun in straight butter. On one side of the dog is the Osetra. On the other is a little bit of (Randy Marsh voice) crème fraiche.

The Cubs’ transaction list under Epstein and Hoyer reads like a work of fiction, a wish-fulfillment list composed in hindsight.

Miss Ricky’s restaurant inside the Virgin Hotel is serving Buddy the Elf spaghetti now through Xmas. $15.

the pasta is topped with strawberry and raspberry sauces, marshmallows, s’more Pop-Tarts, M&Ms, Oreos, Fruity Pebbles, coconut flakes, syrup, and chocolate sauce. The restaurant tells The Takeout it also will play Elf on loop all day today. (God help their staff.)
