I've never tried Meatheads, so they could be amazing, but they really need to fix the pic on their webpage; that front and center burger looks like fake/undercooked garbage.

They are expensive like Five Guys but you get more options for your burger.

Right, but the quality of the food, IMO, noticeably worsened, too. They also got real stingy with the fries, though as bad as that's become it's not necessarily a bad thing.

The one in Evanston closed, too, and two longstanding ones near me here in their homebase of Northern VA.

Chalk up another victim for the millennials.

Btw, is Moe's considered fast food? Because Chipotle was on that fast food list, but IMO Moe's is better.

Hell, even Chipotle's dimwitted cousin Qdoba is better than they are. Don't have to pay extra for fajita veggies, and horsefeathers QUESO AND NACHOS. Get your horsefeathers together, Chipotle, and gimme some melted cheese glop.

Five Guys is ok. I have had people that said it's made them sick and others that love it. I wouldn't go out of way for any of their stuff though the giant bag o fries makes me nostalgic for the corner Vienna hot dog type places that used to be all over Chicago's NW side

I've been trying to convince people of this for years.

I can count on one hand the number of times in my life that eating something has made me sick to the point of [expletive] and/or puking my guts out, so when people start talking about how one chain has made them or their friends do this multiple times it seems like a stretch.

Ever been to Moe's? It's basically chipotle except they let you dip your own salsa or queso as opposed to the shot glass of salsa that you get at chipotle.

Qdoba is another chain, along with Smashburger, that came to town and died a few years later. Both places picked awful locations though.

Qdobas always seem to die a quick death because dimwits can't separate themselves from the teat of the Chipotle that's invariably right down the street. That the one on Diversey has stayed open all this time is a minor miracle.

I also like eating there because their name sounds like a Star Wars bounty hunter or something.

Qdoba dies an early death because their product isn't as good as Chipotles

Also, if you truly want good Mexican food, find a place that uses and needs lots of migrant workers. I can attest to this locale: https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_ ... ngton.html

It's basically the same thing, except cheaper (or at least it used to be; I haven't been to either in forever) and with more food options. Chipotle is for taint-smooching suckers who like lines and stupidly designed restaurant furniture.

I haven't been to a Chipolte with less than 4 people in line for 8 years. It is basically a rice burrito with a hint of meat. Their carnitas burrito is good, and that is the only thing worth eating there.

Chipotle also lives and dies by some serious anti-GMO dumbassery, so that's a huge knock against them.

Qdoba is the king of fast casual burritos. Sammy said it earlier, but queso wins.
