I'm not young and I never knew that!

However, a quick look into Wikipedia (for what it's worth):

"Arby's was founded in Boardman, Ohio, on July 23, 1964, by Forrest (1922–2008)[8] and Leroy Raffel, owners of a restaurant equipment business who thought there was a market opportunity for a fast food franchise based on a food other than hamburgers. The brothers wanted to call their restaurants "Big Tex", but that name was already used by an Akron business. Instead, they chose the name "Arby's", based on R. B., the initials of Raffel Brothers

1) I'm not young
2) You don't have to be old to know that Arby's is a roast beef place.

You never just have ONE beef and cheddar!? Don’t they always have a deal going on, like 2 for $5 or 3 for $6? I remember way back in the day they’d have 5 for $5? YUM!, but regrets later in the day.

I can't say for certain that I've ever had Arby's. Was never a place my family went growing up, and never a place I've voluntarily stopped at

one time i had a hankering for beef and cheddar so i went to arby’s and ordered two beef and cheddars under the assumption they were always 2 for $6 or whatever. somehow, there was no special that day and when i got to the window they wanted like 11 bucks! it was the worst thing that happened to me that whole month.

I remodeled my mother-in-laws house and lived off of Arby's for like a whole summer. Now I have hypertension.

Arby’s Market Fresh Turkey sandwich is pretty good if you can get it without stale bread. They must not make very many and just keep using the loaf of bread no matter how long it’s been.

In high school, me and my disgusting friends would have eating contests to see how quickly we could down the 5 for $5. My secret was ordering a side of au jus for lubrication.

I am not ashamed to admit that I love Arby’s roast beef so much that I look down upon the proles that sully it with that cheese sludge

Sorry, but I don't think you can put enough of that yellowish-orange stuff on an Arby's. Add a bit of BBQ and it.....heaven!!

being a bit of a foodie (read: fatass), I enjoy sampling the local fare in my many travels. the excitement that comes along with visiting a great food city has just been overshadowed by the realization that I hate everyone of you in the Chicagoland area for being able to eat this stuff on a regular basis, even when I'm stuffing my face with the italian beef/sausage combo at Portillo's for the 80th time
