Yeah, I can't think of where I've seen it anywhere here outside of some kind of foie gras.

I was really excited to try it at this place in Germany a few years ago only to find that they had given me an outdated English menu and it wasnt available.

Oh, I've had plenty of awesome duck dishes. If you find a good Thai place that nails a crispy duck platter, GET IT. But even at a takeout place, duck costs a ton more, like it's some kind of fancy bird instead of just a nasty water pigeon with a murderous corkscrew dick.

The Cubs’ transaction list under Epstein and Hoyer reads like a work of fiction, a wish-fulfillment list composed in hindsight.

https://thetakeout.com/new-bk-nightmare ... 1829848032

Because our waking life apparently isn’t nightmarish enough, Burger King is out to even rob us of the sweet relief of sleep with its latest Halloween concoction, the Nightmare King. The new burger, which consists of “a quarter pound of flame-grilled beef, a white meat crispy chicken fillet, melted American cheese, thick-cut bacon, creamy mayonnaise and onions on a glazed green sesame seed bun” will be available nationwide starting Monday through November 1 . But even offering three different kinds of meat apparently isn’t enough: BK also says the burger offers the chance to draw some scary scenes from your subconscious for a mere suggested price of $6.39 (not including followup therapy).

That sad display is how it looks in the commercial; that's the best they could dress it up.

I really don't get it. The best fast food inventions go overseas while it feels like America gets all these failed inventions. I wish American McDonald's menu was half as good as Japan McDonalds. KFC is even better over there, especially during Christmas where you have to make your reservations months ahead of time.

Sam with KFC in Jamaica. People would put their best clothes on to eat there. Sunday after church was filled to capacity.

I'm just talking what was on the menu; outside of the two I knew of just being in kinda fancy malls/upscale shopping centers, Bangkok KFC's were still just casual fast food places.

To be fair, they did post another tweet a few hours later after people pointed out the bad choice of photo.

I just looked at that places full menu and maybe that awful looking [expletive] sushi is the proper picture. 70% of that items on their menu are sushi. Outside of that there's like 6 different types of curry and that's about it.

There are, for better or for worse, tons of halfassed "fusion" places like that all over the place, and so-called Thai places serving a ton of sushi isn't unusual at all. But, yeah, for a restaurant like that to be voted the best Thai place in the city is nothing but shaaaaaammmmmme.

The best Mexican restaurant in Rockford is Taco Bell. It could be worse

Carlos O'Kelly's (Mexican restaurant if you couldn't tell) in Rockford was a highlight of my childhood. Like seriously, it was a place people in my family would pick for birthdays.

Rockford has some good breweries these days at least.
