Tick Tock Mother Floater

Postby jersey cubs fan » Mon Aug 17, 2020 8:12 pm

This story is making me increasingly angry because of all the morons freaking out about a person jumping into the "Hudson River".

A) That's not the Hudson, that's New York Harbor and/or Bay where the Hudson flows before becoming the Atlantic Ocean.
B) The Hudson isn't even that bad of a body of water to jump into, and that part of the harbor is fine. There's a ton of traffic at times and can be choppy as hell, but that isn't the toxic sludge people think it is.

A friend of mine dove in as a joke a few miles north of there, in the actual Hudson River, 15 years ago, and it was fine. People kayak and do other water activities in the actual Hudson River all the time.

People responding to this as if she's going to get Covid-II are all dumb. My favorite are the ones saying, "real new yorkers know you don't even drink from the Hudson". Well no horsefeathers dumbass, it's brackish water in the best of times, where the fresh water meets the ocean, nobody should ever drink that regardless of pollution.

Spoiler: show
nsbb is only mostly dead
