Are you still in the Sacramento area? Tomorrow and Monday look pretty rough.

I am still in Sacramento. The Oroville Dam situation was a little scary. I've never been that close to mandatory evacuations before and we're definitely worried about what this storm is going to bring. The lake is about 50 feet from the top right now and a storm a couple weeks ago caused it to go up 50 feet in a couple days.

Yeah, my coworker from Chico was pretty worried about her family though they ended up being upriver and safe.

Sounds like the biggest flooding concern for this storm is Don Pedro Lake and the Tulomne River flooding Modesto. But this is another slow-moving warm storm with lots of Sierra snowmelt on top of the heavy rain so that's going to be pretty scary across the Central Valley.

Is there an online retailer that sells business jorts?

The Cubs’ transaction list under Epstein and Hoyer reads like a work of fiction, a wish-fulfillment list composed in hindsight.

It looks like more records will be broken. Forecast highs of 65 degrees tomorrow and 73 degrees on Wednesday at O'Hare Airport!

It was another day in the 60s in Chicago today, and the high at O'Hare Airport is forecast to be 74 degrees. Depending on how long the morning fog stays around, Chicago could tie or break the all-time February high temperature (75 degrees)!

It looks like some plants are already starting to bud/pop out of the ground. Wonder how many of them will survive the next drop below freezing.

I noticed my crocuses coming up this weekend, but they're pretty early risers already, so they'll be fine.

Winter is back after taking January and February off, at least in the Chicago area.

Yeah high 40's here by then, which is around normal for mid March. I just got spoiled in mid February, sitting on my deck, drinking some IPA's and listening to music.

Meanwhile our winter weather is going to be a dusting compared to what the NE is going to be hit with.

Yeah, and the responses to this one are terrifying. I don't understand people that don't evacuate before hurricanes. I guess maybe they had nowhere to go, or no way to leave...but jesus.
