I drove through a tornado today. Its only the second or third time I’ve done that. Not a fan of the maneuver.

Initially calling it global warming has been the biggest folly of the climate change debacle because it has given dumb horsefeathers like this stupid dick the word "Warm" to contradict anything extremely cold and it convinces the rubes that it's all nonsense and it horsefeathering infuriates me to no end.

In Denver this storm was only supposed to drop an inch or two, and its already over 6 inches at the moment.

my garage door won't open. but that's cool because after it comes up 6 inches it won't go back down either. also, a huge horsefeathers you in the stupid face to the ass that "plowed" our street and dumped everything right at the end of my driveway and didn't make a wide enough path for cars at the other end. no probs, I'm sure it'll all get better over the next 197 hours of temps falling

One time I was driving from Chicago to Denver and saw a tornado forming right in front of me (as I heard the emergency alert crackle over the radio) and instead of trying to go under it, I (stupidly) got off the highway and went south. This is all in a cornfield in Nebraska, all of the sudden it got super dark and the worst hail started up, I thought my windshield was going to crack.

So I'm flying south on a country road getting pelted while I'm looking at the funnel cloud to my right (west). Eventually I got far enough away and ended up in Grant, Nebraska, taking shelter in their fire department. I continued my drive to Denver and saw a bunch of the most incredible cloud formations I have ever seen, like the one on this page in South Dakota.

It was a crazy experience, I had some pictures of the 'naders & hail but they died with my old blackberry. I got a speeding ticket on the final leg of the trip because I wanted to get home and see the end of the SCF, Game 5 in 2010.

There are some business critical areas that have to come in, but most of us are allowed to work from home the next 2 days.

I work from home when I'm not on the road. which is cool since my garage door still won't stay open or closed. I was supposed to be in Edmonton this week. when it was first planned I was not happy about heading there in January/February, but it's supposed to be about 50 degrees warmer there tomorrow

The parking lot at my apartment complex could host a hockey game right now.

I get to work from home tomorrow, so there is that. =D>
