13 Hours was enjoyable. It wasn't as good as Black Hawk Down but it is worth a watch if you like the war action genre.

Watched Creed last night. Thoroughly entertained. I wouldn't be upset if Stallone got the Oscar.

Loved it. If awards weren't dumb, Michael B. Jordan should be up for something. I like that dude.

Re: Movie Thread 2: The Sequel
Saw The Revenant, one of the bloodiest, most real to life movies I can remember. Great movie, although I would say it is a bit overblown. Director should get Oscar, could see it getting movie Oscar too. Not sure on Leo. Just not enough real awe inspiring acting. Wouldn't be upset if he wins though. Did the role well and the crawling in Calgary area wilderness must have been tough. Plus he deserved others.

Re: Movie Thread 2: The Sequel
It's either going to be hysterical, or its going to be a great idea for an 8 minute K&P skit stretched to 90 minutes

Re: Movie Thread 2: The Sequel
Jordan Peele is apparently scouting locations here in Mobile to film a horror movie he's written and will be directing. Might start filming Feb. 5th. That would be a nice feather in the cap for our city, considering every other movie that comes here is a straight to DVD Bruce Willis or Nic Cage movie.

I don't see many comedies in the theater, but I'll have to see that one for sure.

The Suicide Squad movie looks like it'll be fun for the first half hour or so as they introduce everyone and then just turn incredibly tedious and repetitive for the rest of it when they actually have to do stuff.
