I think Disney/MCU has proven that they can take just about any deep cut from the Marvel roster and turn them into a bankable piece of the franchise. They've got the formula down.

When the movies started, Iron Man was a third-tier piece and Thor was a kinda weird anachronism from a hokier age of comics. Ant-Man was technically an original Avenger but nobody was thinking about him as a multiple-movie piece. Guardians of the Galaxy was a weird offshoot. But get the right stars in place, put out Disney quality, and it takes care of itself.

I figure we retire or kill off Iron Man and Cap, let Strange and Thor be bridges for a movie or two, and let the newer generation take over while adding in a couple more. Spider-Man and Black Panther are a good start.

Some characters I think would do great mixed in and could hold their own for solo movies: Nova, Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, Amadeus Cho (as new Hulk), Moon Knight.

Yeah, there's a ton of stuff they could tackle before even thinking about doing the X-Men.

Honestly, the smartest thing for them to do is basically treat the X-Men universe as its own franchise. Those would be massive event movies regardless, and then they have the built in ungodly success of finally crossing over that with the MCU. The X-history is just too damn dense, and most of it has nothing to do with the rest of the Marvel Universe (besides crap like Onslaught and House of M).

They're already doing a C&D TV show. It's buried on ABC Family or something.

I've seen some speculation that Hemsworth really enjoyed the "wackier" Thor in Ragnarok and may wanna stick around. It also seems like Avengers 4 may be the last time we do a massive team-up of all these characters, and that pairing off like Thor and Hulk in Ragnarok may be more what we can expect moving forward.

All that said, I really think we could see Thor in a future Guardians movie.

27 years after we last saw the totally radical pairing of Ted “Theodore” Logan and Bill S. Preston Esq., Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter are now confirmed to reprise their roles in a third Bill & Ted movie, I can reveal. Bloom is launching sales in Cannes on the long-gestating time-travel comedy, which is called Bill & Ted Face The Music.

Finally saw Ready Player One. Really cool visually, but very mediocre movie with some cringy writing.

Don't click on this unless you've seen Avengers: Infinity War (big time spoilers):

Kind of a neat way to sort out your list of favorite to least favorite MCU movies.
