Good because JMO the MCU Spider-Man is the worst, not least bc he's played by a 42 YO British guy

You had something cool to share, so of course you had to editorialize and ruin it

Forgot to add that Wilde directed Booksmart, which maaaaaybe was the funniest new movie I saw last year. I wouldn't root against a Ms. Marvel/Kamala Khan movie either outside of that likely meaning another British actor taking American roles, that character seems directly in her wheelhouse

Coco is a GD masterpiece. Unfortunately my kids only want to watch Lightning McQueen for the 8 millionth time.
I too keep hoping that Coco will catch on (13 month old twins) but all they want is Moana or Sesame Street.

Beyond the visuals Coco is such a sweet movie.

You could do a whole hell of a lot worse than having your kids want to watch Moana a lot. That's a great movie.

Netflix just straight up wrecked the life and career of a French Senegalese female director by taking her well reviewed Sundance award winning movie and marketing it like it's pedo fodder.

https://www.vulture.com/2020/08/netflix ... ained.html

The movie is getting protested and review bombed and the director is getting death threats.

Just watched Joker. It’s too bad they killed the Waynes at the end. I thought maybe there could be a story to be told from that family.

What?
I thought it was Elizabeth Perkins’ daughter for half the trailer but I didn’t think she was a 32 year old woman playing the part of a teenager.

horsefeathers. Didn’t even know he was sick and also wouldn’t have guessed he was 43 (which is still way too young, but would’ve guessed he was younger). horsefeathers cancer

This is insanely shocking. He was a great actor and from what I’ve read a really good person. RIP

Really cruel world, his star was just starting to ascend

He played the lead in 3 biopics. I feel like that has to be very uncommon
