Hahahah! What? They're still going to try and have it out in a little over a month? This might actually kill Plummer.

No kidding. I've been thinking lately about which of my favorite, seemingly decent actors could go down that would really bum me out/surprise the hell out of me. I'm too afraid to name them for fear of some sort of jinx

The Cubs’ transaction list under Epstein and Hoyer reads like a work of fiction, a wish-fulfillment list composed in hindsight.

Man, PTA's Boogie Nights commentary would not make it surprising at all if he popped up in all of this.

Reactions to Justice League are being posted on social media. They're all over the place, though it seems to be leaning toward the positive end of the spectrum. So...I guess at least DC is moving in the right direction....

Walt Disney Co. held talks to buy 21st Century Fox Inc.’s movie studio and other assets, a person familiar with the matter said, a deal that would have given the entertainment giant control of another studio and TV networks across the world.

The two sides aren’t talking anymore, said the person, who asked not to be identified discussing private information. Fox shares surged as much as 8.9 percent, and Disney rose as much as 2.4 percent after CNBC first reported on the discussions. Both companies declined to comment.

https://www.cnbc.com/2017/11/10/pencils ... -deal.html

Media giants Disney and 21st Century Fox haven't given up on the idea of combining movie and television production operations, CNBC's David Faber said Friday.

"Pencils aren't down," he said, citing sources.

On Friday, Faber said that although the two companies have not been engaged in conversations "it does appear at the very least that they have not abandoned the idea of that combination."
