Ha, I see D'arcy Carden on one of the episodes. She's a scene stealer on The Good Place.

I ended up quite liking this show. I listened to the Red Robin one, and started the Coldstone Creamery one.

Start from the beginning, just so you can see the Burger Boy and Spoonman relationship completely implode.

Few things bring me more joy than Mitch's exasperated "what the horsefeathers?!?"

Well Mitch is far more restrained in this first episode. When I listened to the Red Robin episode he sounded much more hyper and reminded me a lot of Seth Rogan.

Oh yeah, he's slowly coming apart as the series goes on. The trauma of ghosts, Star Wars, running Spoon Nation, eating so much terrible food and Wiger being Wiger has pushed him to the brink.

I guess not. I'm pretty stocked up on sports and movie related ones, but other than that I'm open minded.

Maybe something that's not too serialized.

this is starting back up

technically this is serialized, I think. But it doesn't matter.

I was so, so excited to see that they launched the new season today. Fantastic show that's just a ton of fun. It's a bit slow to start off with if you go back to beginning, but after a couple weeks or so I think it clicked how absurd the whole premise they had set up for themselves was and they just embraced talking about the ridiculous minutiae of the movies in a really endearing way.

Also: Alex Robinson's comics are fantastic.

I love MBMBAM.

Been working my way through Doughboys. Just finished the In-N-Out episode with Armen Weitzman. That was delightfully bat [expletive] crazy.

PMT had Rizzo on today...starts around the 27th minute. Nothing new or particularly entertaining, but always fun to hear him talk about the World Series. Apparently they have Schwarber on soon and they seem way more excited about posting that one (taped them both a couple weeks ago).

Man, Serial spinoff S-Town is pretty damn engrossing, and would have made a much, much, MUCH better season 2 of Serial.

The Canon is coming back, without Devin Faraci, who was busted as an anti-groping hypocrite that had a sexual assault history of his own.

Oh geez, I haven't listened to this one before, but she's gonna have Armond White on as an upcoming guest? That should be...interesting.

S-Town is a perfect microcosm of Alabama.
