Pretty wild. What happened was the bulkhead compartments that were doing a decent job of containing the water finally gave way. Then when the dome of the grand staircase broke open it caused an enormous amount of water to pour into the ship.
One striking thing about that video that the previous one didn't do very well was showing how calm the water was. It was an almost universal statement among the officers and sailors who testified to Congress that they had never seen the ocean so calm. It apparently looked like glass and was perfectly reflective.
