How could anyone, anywhere think this is a good idea?

No matter if it was received with 100% glowing response people behind shows like this should not do things like this for like 5-10 years.

“The most pressure I felt was a few years ago when I was desperately trying to stay ahead of the show. There was a point when the show was coming out in April and my editors said if I could finish the book by December they’d rush it out. And the pressure I felt that fall was the greatest pressure I’ve ever felt and then at a certain point it became apparent I’m not going to finish it by then.

That sucks for you. I fell asleep once and stayed asleep. What the hell was that convoluted mess?

That isn't their official channel. It's an old GoT history video that was part of the Blu-Ray package.

It is on a channel called "Game of Thrones", and was posted by some major TV/Entertainment sites, so I thought it was legit. Seems it was not

This show is already off to a dubious start. The pretty much consensus best writer from GoT wanted to do this show and wrote a pilot but HBO passed and let him go to Amazon. Now they're going back to it with the guy that wrote Hercules (the Rock version), Rampage with the Rock and created the show Colony.

Which are we talking about?

There's one set thousands of years back that already shot a pilot. The Targ history one and possibly one more haven't even had a pilot ordered.

July 19, 2020 -

This writing stuff is hard.

Even so, it has been going well of late. Three more chapters completed this past week. And good progress on several more.

Still a long long way to go, though. Do not get too excited.

You mean he’s nowhere close to finishing the book that was supposedly already done four years ago?

That entire story line is silly and unnecessary, but hey, that's George! So much easier to start a half dozen new storylines than to wrap up the 60 existing storylines
