That was great. I refuse to remotely consider anything else.

Additional rule: you have to have one or the other. The only exception is you have an amazing board name. davell, I'm looking at you; put up a [expletive] avatar or something if your name only sounds like somebody tried say Dave as they lapsed into a coma.

I like that its not wrapped up. She's the biggest human villain left, by far. It makes sense she's still around to me.

They created the wedge between her and Jamie. All that she has left is the Golden Company. Which could very well arrive with Daario at its head.

So all the script leaks before the season turned out to be totally true.

I mean shes basically the only one left who can/wants to try to sabatoge the human resistance but her own general just told her to piss off and if the iron bank and/or golden company get any sight of the real enemy I doubt they'll want to invest in that fight any longer. So she's basically only a queen because she wears a crown and lives in a castle. So maybe that's the most satisfying way for her story to end- basically powerless, yet still living and thinking about how she has nothing left and can't even cause destruction to her enemies.

Cersei's end has to be the finale, sure the demise of the Night King/army of dead will be cool, but Cersei's end is where all the emotional impact will be.

Jon's death protecting his aunt will be the real emotion. Or vice versa. Or killing his aunt to kill the NK. Or vice versa.

Dîd Lyann say Jon's name was Egon? That might explain the lack of Ghost.

The actors of those characters have a prior relationship and aren't on speaking turns. I think they've not appeared on camera together before. It may have even driven the Jamie/Bronn go to Dorne story line so they had something to do with Bronn for awhile (?)

She'll need some logistical help she appears to lack at the moment.

Hell, I'm not even sure she actually has the support of Euron and/or the golden company or that was her just trying to manipulate Jaime and failing.

So Lyanna just went and named her son the same name as the child her new secret husband has with his recently annulled wife? Or is the boy that the Mountain smashed against a wall not called Aegon in the show?

I was pretty satisfied overall, but really, who gives a horsefeathers about Yara or Theon at this point? That whole scene could have been cut and no one would've cared.

Hopefully that actually is just end. I mean, I don't mind a few minutes to close out the story if that's what that is, but I really don't need to see the Yara rescue attempt (or know if it works).

I can't imagine that's the end. Why set up a big rescue mission then never show it? What a waste of time (unless the writers are more clever than I'm giving them credit for)

I know there's the whole "we don't see them die on screen, they might not be dead" rule, but Tormund and Beric couldn't have survived the dragon attack, right?

I probably would have preferred he just get crushed to death there, but I guess the confused repeated nut(less) punches were fun while they lasted.
