I wanted Littlefinger to win. His whole storyline in the books where he's trying to recreate himself as Bael the Bard was going to badass. His offing was kinda a letdown.

Just read an article talking about how Jon actually being Aegon throws the Young Griff character from the books into a weird place (meaning how does that storyline in the books resolve itself, as it now conflicts with Jon's claim to the throne)

Because they're two different stories. Jon's claim will be something different in the books

The question is: what the horsefeathers did Cersei tell Tyrion?

It never is. I suspect less of a true heel turn and more if a fatal miscalculation. He's trying to make a deal with the devil

I saw a link to someone on Reddit that did "the incest math" on Jon/Dany and I guess genetically they are almost the same as brother and sister, and besides aunt/nephew they are also first cousins, second cousins and somehow first cousins a second time

Ok, I've thought way too much about this, and here's my prediction for the end of the series.

To get Cersei on board, Tyrion, who has talked a lot about the line of succession, promised her that her child would be king/queen after whoever emerges from the war victorious, since Dany is barren.

But we know that Cersei will only have three kids, right? Well you can fudge your way around that if she dies in childbirth.

So one of two things happen. Jon and Dany win the war, the Lord of Light stops keeping Jon alive and Dany dies in the battle. Cersei dies in childbirth leaving Tyrion to raise her child up as King or Queen of the ashes/what have you.

Or, and I think this is more likely;

Jon and Dany win the war and the Lord of Light lets Jon die. Dany dies giving birth, as does Cersei. Tyrion, the only remaining bridge between the two sides (Jaime is the 1000th commander of the Night's Watch at this point) helps raise the kids (one is a boy and one is a girl) with the idea that they will marry and rule Westeros.

Or Cersei is lying about her pregnancy in order to manipulate her brothers.

Because of this, Tyrion betrays Dany and causes her death, but not directly, as he has to choose between his love for his niece and nephew and his love for his Queen. Tyrion is given safe haven by Cersei, he then finds out she's lying about the kid and strangles her. He's killed by the Mountain soon after, but the Lannisters have no one left, and the remaining soldiers flock to Jon in the north, led by Bronn.

The Mountain, incidentally, is smashed flat by a real giant at a battle near the Ruby Ford.

Jon wins and sits down to rule the Seven Kingdoms from Winterfell. He rules wisely and he lives long. He marries Sansa and they have many children. It's gross but he's a Targ.

It would probably make the kid Lightbringer, drawn from the fire (Dany.)

Eh, but anyone of the three could be Lightbringer themselves.

Well it wouldn't make any sense for the kid to be azor ahai while the parents are lightbringer? I dunno, maybe it does

I really think that Lightbringer is a sword. Jon will need to stab Dany in the heart to use it to kill the Night's King with King's blood.

The Bran as Night King thing won't go away. Apparently Bran's clothing is the same silhouette as the NK, and I just saw a screen cap from the overhead shot if the Walkers filing through the hole in the wall, and their formation is the outline of the Stark sigil

it only sorta looks like the stark sigil if you crop the photo in, if you look at the full screen it just looks random to me

The Night King being an ancient Stark is likely, and doesn't require the time loop crap to make Bran/TER the Night King. So the sigil thing still makes sense without it being Bran..

I suppose with rumors that the next season will be 6 near feature length films each they could try to still develop Bran as the NK story, but I doubt it.

we're almost certainly getting a full episode on the WWs so it could be done that way. Hell all it would take is Bran going "wait a minute, who is this guy anyway" and going backwards from there.
