As of tonight, I’m no longer one of the last people on Earth to see The Last Jedi. Holy crap, how does anyone have a problem with that movie?!? It’s right behind Rogue One as my fav of the new movies.

I mean, in every other one in the series you knew what was going to happen. This one actually had some twists.

A Time Lord is used to adventures in time and space—but a former Doctor could be paying a visit to the galaxy far, far away.

Variety is reporting that Matt Smith—best known for his roles as Prince Philip in The Crown and to sci-fi fans as the fish-fingers-and-custard-loving Eleventh incarnation of Doctor Who’s titular Time Lord—has signed on to join the currently-filming ninth main entry in the grand Star Wars saga.

Man, they've got some pretty cool additions to the cast for this one.

Yeah, I'm all in to see a full size Falcon, X-Wing, Tie-Fighter, and AT-AT. Definitely gonna have to see that.

we went to disney last week. The line at the Avatar ride was insane. We went there right away when it opened early and still waited nearly 2 hours, but while we were in line the app said the line grew to 5 hours and at one point it was 6 hours long. The ride was pretty cool, and I'd guess the millennium falcon ride will be somewhat similar experience, with an even longer line

Orlando? If so, Jan-Feb is definitely the best time go, so smart move. Not too crowded and the heat isn't stifling. Disney, with all that concrete and glass radiating even more heat, is a hell on Earth most of the year.

Did that open up the lines for other rides? With that many people waiting for one ride, you'd think that the other lines would maybe have a shorter wait.

not really. the only other things we did at animal kingdom were with fast passes, but the regular lines were all long. It was president's day. The day we did hollywood studios we got in 2 rock'n roller coasters and a tower of terror in within the first hour. But slinky ride was hours long immediately and we never bothered.

Early Nov and the few weeks after Thanksgiving is also an excellent time to go. Crowds are getting bigger in those times though and rumors are the Disney is having a harder time getting people to visit in the summer.

We had a fast pass for the Avatar one when we went in November...I'd have liked to ride it twice but the line was like 3 hours long all day.

Our Hollywood Studios day was a horsefeathering mess and we ended up waiting 2.5 hours for Slinky Dog. Fun but short and definitely not fun enough to wait that long for. And there's so little shade for that queue, too.

My god I could not believe how sun exposed that line was. Painful.

One of the best things about being old and children are now adults....I NEVER HAVE TO GO TO ANY KIND OF AMUSEMENT PARK EVER AGAIN!!!

The 2 mins of joy never out weighed the 3 hours of torture once I turned 30

I genuinely had a lot of fun. And it helps that epcot is a tremendous bar crawl opportunity

I'm not a big fan of amusement parks either but at least you can drink your way around the world Epcott style.

I blame my slow computer
