The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was to convince the world he didn't exist.

It will be interesting to see how they game plan around him for his first start, but it's likely gonna be predictable as hell, which kinda sucks. Minnesota will be keying on the run from the very first play, so throwing a wrench into their defensive scheme with a downfield throw on the first or second play to the fastest receiver on the team (McBride? Wheaton? Thompson?) is what I would like to see.

I agree that starting him now is the right time, even with no receivers on the team.

I think they will start out super conservative because John Fox coaches the team. The run will get stuffed and the Bears will be forced into a few 3rd and longs. If Mitch can make things happen, the offense will slowly open up when the game goes along. Not sure how that plays out statistically though.

The Cubs’ transaction list under Epstein and Hoyer reads like a work of fiction, a wish-fulfillment list composed in hindsight.

he kind of reminds me of the dude who seems really nice and quiet but later he confesses to Truman Capote that it was as he who did the murders and Cutler was just following his orders.

Wow I'm pretty surprised he was good at football in hs.

During a "Not For Women Only" panel discussion, former Cubs pitcher Mike Bielecki asked several players to invent a baseball catch phrase for Viagra. Theriot's ad campaign: "Viagra -- I always play hard."

I thought I heard a story around draft time that he was going to go to Ohio State to be the QB then they unexpectedly landed a higher rated QB and rescinded their offer (or something like that). I think in the clip it said something like, "I wanted to stay close to home, but it didn't work out," in reference to this.

I may be full of it or rememebring incorrectly, but maybe someone else heard the same thing.

Yeah, JT Barrett, who has been pretty productive for OSU.
