Re: 2017-18 Bulls Thread - Fly the Tank W
Might would have helped us more, if Orlando had beat the Nets. The Nets have no reason to tank, I "think" they'll wind up with more wins than the Bulls. Orlando still has us at home, the Hawks and Knicks on the road, then Dallas and Charlotte at home. They need to go 3-2 over that stretch somehow.
I'd probably bet on us winding up in the 6 or 7 spot, but 5 seems fairly doable, and 4 is still a possibility.

Additional rule: you have to have one or the other. The only exception is you have an amazing board name. davell, I'm looking at you; put up a [expletive] avatar or something if your name only sounds like somebody tried say Dave as they lapsed into a coma.

The Cubs’ transaction list under Epstein and Hoyer reads like a work of fiction, a wish-fulfillment list composed in hindsight.

Re: 2017-18 Bulls Thread - Fly the Tank W
This is like the biggest game of the season tonight. Bulls are tied for the 7th pick, and only 1.5 games behind the 4th pick with 7 games remaining. Today they play the Magic who is the team that's in the 4th slot right now. Lose this one and they could make up critical ground.
The difference between tied for 7th and 4th? 25% better odds at a top 3 pick and 8% better odds at he #1 pick

Imagine if they hadn't won that dumb ass game against the Mavericks or that last stupid ass game they won by 1 a couple weeks ago

Lopez only got a fine, so he's probably playing. Hopefully Lauri sits again.

Bulls up 14 with 4 to go in the 1st. Lauri is playing, Felicio is dominating. Of course.

Orlando is miserable. Their tank is too much, I'm afraid.

Bulls up 13 at the half. No idea why they played Lauri in this part of the back to back. Him playing last night still results in a loss and sets up tonight better.
Oh well, 7th or 8th pick, here we come.

Bulls go 2-22 from the field in the 3rd, Orlando takes the 3 point lead. Bulls on 10-2 run early in the 4th. This is so awful, but I respect the grit involved in trying to lose by both teams.

Jesus, Orlando wouldn't even get down the court in the 4th. 7th or 8th it is.

Re: 2017-18 Bulls Thread - Fly the Tank W
The only games the Bulls have won in the last 5-6 weeks are the only games we’ve played against teams that we are competing against for draft picks. Pathetic. 4-0 against Orlando this year

Re: 2017-18 Bulls Thread - Fly the Tank W
The Bulls have given up an average of 116 points over their last 10 games. Orlando, who's playing fresh, hangs 82 on the Bulls. Playing the back end of a back to back lol.
Assuming we're not moving up in the lottery, I'd like to see how far up we could move, with the Pels pick and Portis.
I really want one of Ayton, Bagley, or Doncic.....

I wonder how much cash you could command for the Pelicans pick

I think the max is still $3.5m. I’m sure that’s tempting for JR

Depends how much the Sox draft pick is holding out for.

In this mock draft they have the Bulls taking the guy (Mikal Bridges) we all want them to take if they don't move up in the lottery. They have Trae Young going one pick later to the Knicks.
They have Bagley going 5th to the Kings. In that scenario I really hope the Bulls would try to trade up to get him.

I get that it's annoying that they are messing up their draft position, but "tanking" is always a front office strategy, never a player strategy. The players are never going to lose on purpose.

Not only that, but tell that to Orlando against us..... They weren't even getting down the floor in the 4th, or sending a single guy to the boards lol.

Why is it worth calling the players idiots for trying to win?
