markkanen is an extraordinary shooting talent so he'll at least be in the league for a long time health permitting

Markkanen proved to be pretty tough himself in the first half, scoring 17 of his 19 points. After just three games, Markkanen has started opening eyes all over the league, but James has known about the University of Arizona product for a while.

"Very confident," James said of Markkanen. "Watched him a lot at Arizona. Watched him a lot. He wore my shoe a couple times ... he wore my retro Brons a couple times. I like that. I had to stay up very late to watch those Arizona games. A very confident kid, shoot the heck out of the ball. He's going to continue to get better. The best thing about it is he's getting an opportunity. If he makes mistakes, he can learn on the fly, but he's going to play a lot. He's good. It seems like he's learning. He's a good player."

Love the look Bron gave after Lauri drilled one in his face with absolutely zero hesitation. LeBron had to guard our rookie to beat our sorry ass team. That's hilarious. And great.

Hilariously, Markkanen apparently asked Scalabrine permission to wear his number. lmfao

yeah...he's had some really bizarre erratic behavior lately.

that's pretty sad. i wonder wtf happened...i never recall anybody even hinting at him being unstable in any way when he was with the bulls. like if you heard of ron artest or rodman or something doing this, you probably wouldn't be surprised.

Someone on Realgm posted some video from him I think dated Oct 17 or thereabouts, and he definitely looked messed up.

Edit -nevermind, didn't actually click on the TMZ link. That's definitely what they are referencing

Thinking back to how many years ago I was excited that the Bulls would eventually get Mirotic (or trade him for someone awesome) makes me feel really old and dumb.

Ugh, a real win.

Markkanen struggled from the outside, but hit a late 3, while up 1 and under a minute left. 14 and 13 for the rook.

If Philly is going to give Okafor away, I hope we find a way to get him. He's fallen out of their rotation and they've got to make a decision on his option of 6.3 by Tuesday.

No idea what they're looking for, but it doesn't seem like much. Not sure if Portis could get it done, but I actually think they've soured on him to where that MAY be feasible lol.

15 and 8 in 28 minutes for Markkanen, as the Bulls lost a heartbreaker, 101-69, to the Thunder.

Dunn looked rusty at first, but played decently in the second half, albeit in garbage time.
