Fired by Texas Tech, hired by the Arizona Cardinals. Lol @ that career progression.

Sounds like Bowles is the DC, which removes a possible candidate if the Bears lose Fangio.

That’s an excellent coaching staff. Too bad Winston is an utterly trash person that should have zero fans

Evans, Howard, Godwin, and Brate + a really talented OL (Dotson, Marpit, Jensen, Smith) is some sick talent on offense

Apparently, the Jets have a ton of interest in this guy:

He seems more qualified than the more hyped Matt Campbell, so there is that. Still have McGM so any hire is there to get thrown under the bus later is how I see it. This team needs good players, and needs to be super aggressive with the FAs on offense along with trading that 3 pick. Unless that happens, I believe new coach is beat and the Jets will continue to blow Darnold’s rookie deal years.

Gase gets the Jets job. Rhule back to Baylor, presumably with a stop back to his old stomping grounds.

Holy crap, I think the Jets are not being dumb...Scanning Jets blogs and forums, it seems the fans remain batpoop insane. They not only hate the Gase hire* but want Gregg Williams...Horsefeathers Gregg Williams

* fair enough

Eh, let Vic make it his team. If he fails, he fails by his own accord.

The story was he went into the gig ready to run the defense and much like Nagy gave him full control of the defense, he was going to trust Kubiak to run the offense. Now you have to wonder how many Bears assistants he will poach.

How many will it matter? Nagy runs our offense, and our OC isnt likely to leave. So its all lower tier guys from the Bears.

I worry more about losing continuity on defense due to him leaving

You think he's gonna poach offensive coaches?

Most likely none of the offensive coaches are poachable as they usually sign 2 year deals. Ragone would be the only one I'm not sure about.

Defense will be more of a mixed bag as they came in different times. I think Donatell is the only one that confirmed as being out of contract?

Now Nagy may let guys go for a true promotion to coordinator, but we shouldn't end up bleeding assistants.

Doesn't matter who is to blame. Fangio isn't getting his man, so it's not the ideal start for Fangio.
