That seems crazy from Boston's perspective. AD is a free agent next year and you're going to trade your whole team for him? I'd build around Tatum and Brown.

Vegas odds for favorites to win the 2020 championship open with the Lakers as favorites at 9-to-2. Warriors are way down to 15-to-1 odds

He wants to be in NY or LA. Boston can trade away the core but he’d be gone in FA in a year.

The Wizards want to hire away Raptors general manager Masai Ujiri, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski...

Word from Pels beat writers is that they’re not done. Some of those guys are getting dealt again. Liking this new leadership in NOLA so far.

I'm not a fan of Ingram and Ball sucks. Hart is just a good bench player/reserve. I don't believe they're getting a great player at #4 either (this draft isn't that talented outside of the top 2 players).

I think when we look back on this trade it'll look pretty bad from the Pelicans' end, especially if the Lakers win another horsefeathering championship in the next couple years.

horsefeathers the Lakers; they've won enough.

History of trading these guys who basically force the hand to move them because they are leaving in FA will show it’s hard to get a great return. I think the Pelicans came out pretty good. I think Ingram can still be a pretty good player, like maybe 3rd team all NBA good. Lonzo already is a pretty solid PG and think he has some room to grow. The future firsts could be valuable, maybe Lebron and AD clash and he leaves. Lebron is old and Davis gets hurt a lot too, no guarantees 2-3 years from now this team is all that good.

Yeah, I liked Ingram but he can't shoot yet and needs the ball in his hands to be effective. Just look at his numbers when LeBron was healthy vs when LeBron was out. He got way better. He still needs to learn how to shoot better, but he did go from 29% from 3 to 39% from year 1 to year 2 before dropping back to 33% last year. Lonzo just needs to learn how to shoot because he's really good at the other stuff on the court. I had higher hopes for Hart but he took a step back last year.

Yeah Ingram still needs to grow a lot but he’s still really young and has shown flashes and Lebron just stunted his development as you mentioned. He needed to be moved to reach his potential. Agree on Lonzo he does some things quite well already but the jumper will hold him back from being a top PG if he doesn’t improve, he has a lot of other things to make him one though. Health moving forward is big for both, obviously, both have some red flags there too. Hart is fine as like the 9th-10th guy in a rotation on a winning team, don’t think there’s much of a ceiling but he’s useful (especially on a rookie deal).

The Bulls probably don't deserve their own offseason thread at this point so:

Bulls may be considering Sekou Doumbouya which would the kind of high risk/reward they really haven't taken since Tryrus. Or they may just go Hunter if he falls, which would be a very Bulls pick. Insert some extra Hawks trade up to 7 speculation too. Earlier in the offseason all signs pointed to White or a guy like Garland if he fell.

https://www.espn.com/nba/insider/story/ ... test-intel

Sekou Doumbouya had an outstanding workout with Chicago last week and is under consideration, but it might be tough to turn down the defensive versatility and readiness of Hunter, who brings the kind of mature approach this front office typically covets in the draft.

The Hawks are very high on Hunter -- per sources, they are the only team Hunter has worked out for -- and Atlanta might try to package some combination of its six picks in this draft to move up and select him. But the Bulls very well might just want to hold onto Hunter if they can grab him here.

Maybe I'll actually watch the draft this year though. Sounds like there could be movement. Unfortunately the NBA is boring and doesn't officially announce trades. But bonus points for akward interviews where some guy is wearing a hat and talking about a team everyone knows he isn't joining.

Looked like the dude in the chair, the awesomely named Jordan Bone, wasn't gonna get drafted, but then he was at the last minute and everyone goes nuts.

Yep. Him/his family had thrown a draft party to watch it, and this took place near the end of the second round. His brother took the mic to address everyone/talk about how disappointed he was. I assume it was going to shift into a 'but this career isn't over', when the TV in the background showed him getting drafted with the 57th pick.

Asking for a friend: If someone's sports teams are clearly on the rise - lets say those teams include the NJ Devils, Nets, and Jets - does it mean that individual fan's life is on the rise? Golly I hope so for my friend that I am asking for

A) The devils are the only team in that group actually on the rise, and they will rise exactly to the level below sustained success before it all falls apart again, that is the Devils way.

B) As somebody who has seen his teams rise, I can honestly say the answer is no.
