But I think he’s a good route runner, moderately and can makes catches in traffic. I’m surprised he’s lasted this long...production wasn’t completely there in college but all the tools are still there.

If they go WR I'd really want it to be a burner type, plus points if they have return potential (Cohen and Patterson will both be FA next year)

Who would that be?

also, Brycen is off the board, but interestingly Fromm and Weaver are both still there, but I think I'd still grab Adams from Washington if it were up to the 3, a big run blocking tackle for the future

Yeah that’s fair, I could accept that. I just think DPJ has the upside of a number 1 but with considerable risk which is definitely something teams look for in the 5th Round. Or at least teams that have no glaring holes that have strangely not been addressed so far (cough OLine)

Not sure at this point. But if a 5th or 6th rounder can come in a beat Wims or Ridley, so be it, they're more unknown than anything at this point.

Tyler Biadasz is a guy who could still be sitting there and would help out IOL depth.

yea, I thought about him when I posted about Adams, but Biadasz isn't very quick. I'm not sure I'd take him tbh, I think Adams is a better bet

eta: nvm, Biadasz is gone

Sounds like we still have the other 5th Rd pick. Traded next year's 4th for this pick.

I’ll take it. We have a bunch of picks next year I believe

Edit: though I guess the value chart shows that the bears lost the trade

Nope. We just have rd 1-3,5,6 pick for next years draft. We should be getting some comp picks, but I think they're all 6th rounders.

they have extra 6s and 7s, not 4s. It’s a world of difference. 4s play, 6/7s get cut.

Next year is the year they have to draft a qb, which likely means trading up. They just gave away a 4th for a 5th because Ryan Pace does not understand value.

Well he was undrafted :-)

If I recall RRH didn't move down to DE immediately. There was some question at first if he'd bulk up and do that or stay at OLB. I assume it's the same with Gipson. Same size as Pernell McPhee for instance.

If next year is the year they need to deaft qb, they likely wont have to trade up
