Would be nice to see New GM trade Marcus Maye for a pick or player after this Davis pick...Not really a need to do that, the team needs DBs, but whyyyyy not I say

So this guy will be Kevin Faulk for Brady? That offense is going to be the best in Madden history

---

Amik Robertson the CB is maybe one defensive player I'd be OK with at 79 with Hennessy sniped...Cushenberry hopefully I guess...Note how the Jets get to come in from two commercial breaks with their last two picks! The scriptwriters are into Los Yets!

So clearly Belichick likes this current Jets GM...Joe Douglas...and I am liking having all these picks

Zuniga is a massive step up athletically from Lorenzo Mauldin, the "pass rushing" prospect Latest Former GM took over Danielle Hunter, so there's that. Seems more like a jumbo Jordan Jenkins, a good thing, but with more of a DE game than LB game?...WR, RB, OL, CB, and QB tmrrw please I guess no order just suck much less than the other teams' day 3 will...Oh and definitely necessary to end round 3 at midnight booooo me

Or Dillon the RB or OBJ or something cool for the offense. They can go defense after the 3rd, Adams will get them in the top ten again probably just being a beast

Possibly 6(!!) more times today!

These 6 have been deemed worthy:

Amik Robertson CB
Curtis Weaver DE/LB
Prince Tega Wenogho OT/OG or Runyan's son a guard or Jack Driscoll to play C but also G and T
Tyler Johnson WR or the guy from Liberty because America
Braden Mann P
Jake Fromm QB

Pretty soon Theo will have to catch up to both Andrew Friedman and this...Joe Douglas

I love how Payton/Loomis and the Saints filled three need positions with guys who had slipped in the draft, and now are basically taking the next two days off.

This is basically the exact opposite of the Packers strategy. Ugh

there's drafting for need and drafting best available, and GB seems to have a completely different strategy than either of those. not a single wr so far in a draft full of them

Bryce Hall! What a get! I have heard of him! Jets got some good play out of a 6th round CB with to bad knees, Bless Austin, last year. Hall missed most of 2019 to an ankle injury requiring surgery and is probably considered a way better prospect so probably Joe Douglas just got a #1 CB

I think there's five future starters in this draft: Becton, Mims, Hall, Davis, and Zuniga...Becton and Mims are basically the Revis and Davis Harris draft all over again but for the offense, someone's going to the HOF...and also the 4th round OT they drafted probably has a shot at RG too

Thank you scriptwriters! Go get that punter

Saints took the Miss State QB in the 7th round. Between letting Teddy walk and not drafting a QB until this late, it’s clear that Taysom Hill is their QB in 2021. Payton said that Saints will have three QBs active on game days so that they can use Taysom more in the offense. The State QB plays pretty much the same way

Neccessary post draft hot takes:

- Jonathan Taylor and AJ Dillon are going to big for The Rivers and Rogers, I like the Packers' midround interior OL picks and Pittman Jr. across from Hilton on the Colts

- The Cowboys might have gotten 5 starters in their first 5 picks

- Josh Allen is tough so it pains me deeply to make fun of how terrible a QB prospect he is and was. Instead I'll say that the Bills' FO is savage and getting Fromm was another wise move hopefully it pays off in time for that cool roster to hopefully just lose the division to the Jets

- The scriptwriters were really smiling upon the non-Pats AFC East. The Pats drafted like a team preparing to get jumped by a neighborhood, everyone else did great. The Pats will probably take the division handily with Dalton or Winston or Stidham

- The Jags probably started great with Henderson and Chaisson

- The Eagles finished really strong from Driscoll down

- The 49ers had a great draft just getting Kinlaw and trading for Williams

- The Jets! There wasn't a better draft! Watch out for UDFA Bryce Huff..the RB and QB are boring but that's because Bell and Darnold, the RB catches passes yay. Becton and Mims have that sweet mix of crazy production and combines, huge ceilings in buildings full of upside potential to develop or however the pros say it. Hall would have went like at least a round higher if he didn't break his ankle in a game, as many as 2-3 if that was the 5th. The punter is basically the next Shane Lechler or Brandon Moorman if he punted. Clark will clearly be a decade starter at RG. Everyone is going to do amazing, basically, playing with Darnold under great leader Gase...Between that megamallpark and the Jets in the Meadowlands, NJ will rise as a beacon of hope and innovation in the post-COVID19 most likely

- Players Tom Brady can throw to this year: Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, OJ Howard, Rob Gronkowski, another quality TE, and now steal Tyler Johnson. Hopefully these guys do so well that Evans and/or Howard get sent to the Jets

- The Steelers taking Claypool make me believe that he was, indeed, a good WR prospect. I was undecided, g'luck Mims will be better

Arizona did good too, did alot to protect Simmons the first round pick...All I'm looking for is a Karlos Dansby/Adrian Wilson hybrid

You really can't grade a draft one day after it ends, but every major publication thinks that most every team got an A or B grade. The only bad grades I saw were for the Packers who were given a C by one publication and a D in another. Do publications always give mostly good grades out like this or did teams seemingly draft well this year?
