I'm only half paying attention, but Patrick Williams is looking promising.

I know it’s like against the rules now to shoot midrange jumpers but his midrange shot is looking smooth

All the highlights from this game, including that clip had some sort of disturbing static noise in the background

OTOH the lack of Neil Funk left for a net upgrade in audio experience

Wendell Carter looked like he does not belong in the NBA.

Well horsefeathers, Patrick Williams just might be the best player in this class.

Am I crazy if I see a more polished version of Jimmy Butler when he came into the league? I also don't think Lauri is a good fit with this team. He either needs to hit open 3s or be able to be a small ball 5, and it doesn't look like he can do either.

Williams reminds me a bit of Tobias Harris, I mean that in a good way, more than Jimmy.

man, I really want to throw in the 'but its preseason' objection but you are right, he looks really solid out there. No doubt there will be growing pains but the kid is 19 so he has a lot of development and improvement in him. I can see why AK loved him so much

Lol, if I squint, I can see a little Kawhi there so I might be crazier.

And I'm with you on Lauri. I'd love to get whatever I can for him as soon as possible, before he completely tanks his trade value.

You're all crazy, it's obviously the next Lebron that's in him. Probably a bit stronger and a more developed shot though.

I'm already for just getting rid of the national anthem before sporting events, but it's really pointless in an empty arena.

83 seems like a lot of points for a half.

How did Patrick Williams look tonight? LaMelo Ball with a solid 0 points, 3 assists, 3 turnovers on 0-5 shooting in his debut tonight.

The Bulls are surely not as bad as they played tonight. But man if they don’t play a lot better this team may be like 3-17 by the end of January

Lauri and WCjr absolutely suck. What happened to these two?

That’s a weird thing to say when Lauri actually played pretty well. Disappeared at times (as always), but had flashes and definitely didn’t “absolutely suck”. WCJ and Coby White absolutely sucked. Coby’s defense, in particular, stood out as being the worst of all the bad defense that was “being played” out there. I’m not too worried or making any judgements until at least a couple months in. Tough not having played in almost a year, having a new HC, and having a drastically shortened training camp.

Pat Williams looked pretty good out there at times.
