Super Bowl Thread

Postby Derwood » Sun Feb 07, 2021 11:25 pm

No reason to muck up the other threads with our Superbowl hot takes

So, how many times do you think staff tried teaching Andy Reid how to wear his mask before they gave up?

Chiefs can’t do anything right. The only position group that’s been good is the FG kicker.

Maybe holding receivers on every play is a bad strategy when the refs are throwing flags every time you do it

KC shouldn’t have called the second timeout.

Don’t these balls have to be catchable for PI to be called? The second one definitely wasn’t.

Ok, so the Chiefs can’t be doing things THAT differently. Is this just because you can’t do it against Brady?

The first one I didn’t mind. The second one was inexplicable. 3rd and 10? Sure. Call it there. But not 3rd and 2.

The refs should probably be a bit more subtle.

They’re totally in #32’s head. Chiefs can still come back but wow I didn’t see this.

You know things are going well when Boomer’s halftime talking point is “there are too many penalties leading to points for Tampa”.

Are they really in 32’s head or are these refs bad?

How many teams do you think Brady could get into the SB if he were a FA again?
