AP Investigation released.

Sounds like the whole of Penn State knew what Sandusky was doing and nothing was done to stop him. Pretty awful.

Say goodbye to perjury charges against Curley and Schultz and McQueary's credibility.

Hahahaha, you have to love pro-PSU leaks and the people who swallow it whole.

preliminary hearing is basically just a hearing to make sure the prosecution has enough evidence to go to trial.

Basically, the judge hears from both sides and decides whether the prosecution has enough evidence to take the case to trial.

Joe didn't want to hear about all of this before; why would he start now?

Pretty much. Prosecution was going to hear from what, 8 victims?

Sandusky's attorney talking goofy with reporters.

Quote:
The choicest moment: At one point, Amendola discussed the possibility that Mike McQueary witnessed a rape, told Joe Paterno and two university administrators, and no one did anything except tell Sandusky to stay out of the locker room with kids. To anyone who believes that version of events, Amendola said, "I suggest you dial 1-800-REALITY." We did. Here's what we got:

Sandusky's legal team is awful at their jobs:

Quote:
During an appearance with ABC27 News on Tuesday, Rominger suggested that Sandusky was showering with boys -- something that he has repeatedly admitted to -- in order to teach them "basic hygiene skills" rather than for any sexual purpose.

"Some of these kids don't have basic hygiene skills," Rominger told ABC 27. "Teaching a person to shower at the age of 12 or 14 sounds strange to some people, but people who work with troubled youth will tell you there are a lot of juvenile delinquents and people who are dependent who have to be taught basic life skills like how to put soap on their body."

I'm not seeing anything. I do see 2 ESPN stories about PSU though, one about JoePa's legacy:

and one about the trial

Yea tried to post the one about the trial. This is the first day that any kind of real firsthand public testimony occurred, with McQueary taking the stand.

When I was in high school, there was this PE teacher/coach who taught freshman swim class. I was not in his class myself, but apparently, he made all the freshman shower naked after swim class and got in the shower with them. He would basically "teach" the kids in his class how to shower, including spending a lot of time on how to lather up the scrotal area. I thought it was very weird hearing about this back then, but this made be think of it again.

Now looking back, I look on this way differently. Perverts are probably all over PE departments at every level, particularly high school.
