on another note, deron williams is the second best point guard in the NBA.

Not a good job of closing, but a win's a win. I don't know how we ran out of timeouts or why Taj was in at the end of the game, but it doesn't matter now.

Nice win tonight.

You probably won't have to worry about Philly come playoff time. They're now 4-11 in games decided by single digits. Some of that is fluky, but probably not all of it. It would be a tough, annoying series for the Bulls that would probably go 5 or 6 games, but Philly is not going to blow out the Bulls more than once, maybe twice and so they'd have to find a way to win close games to have any chance in the series.

I think the Bulls will beat the Pacers tomorrow, but it will be interesting to see how they match up now that Deng's back. Of course, in the first game Brewer played really well in his absence (which based on this thread seems to be a little bit of a rarity).

I just want to make sure everybody sees this, because it could not be more true. The adjustment he made while in the air to get square to the hoop and knock that down was freaking amazing.

Noah was shoved in the back on every rebound attempt and it was never called.

I kinda want to see how the Bulls play Philly at home before worrying too much. There is a little worry because Philly has played the Bulls extremely well and the 2 times we've played them this year but they have both been in Philly.

If we're worried about Philly, we have absolutely no chance of beating Miami this year.

I'm not worried. Philly played almost a perfect matchup game, outrebounded and out-assisted the Bulls (which never happens), and still lost. They didn't shoot well, but that was about the only thing that didn't work in Philly's favor in this game. That and Derrick Rose, of course.

Agreed. I'm not worried about them either.

The Bulls played a pretty bad first half defensively. Rose and Boozer were really the only two players to do anything of note on offense and they were only down by 6 at the half on the road.

Not only that but they only had 5 turnovers. Of course they are the best team in the league at preventing turnovers, but 5 is half their season average.

Also, another thing to note about Philly is that they will have the same problem in the playoffs that everyone said about the Bulls last year - they rely a lot on great bench play. In the playoffs, the rotations typically shorten and a superior bench makes less of an impact as it does in the regular season.

We just beat them in their building. Who's worried?

So have there been any rumors of the Bulls looking to trade at the deadline?

Sure. They're gonna trade everybody but Rose for Dwight Howard.

And now the focus shifts to Indiana, whom the Bulls took exception with their celebration following a rare home loss on Jan. 25.

Rose said he "doesn't forget about anything" and "it should be an exciting game." Noah took it a step further.

"Derrick gets hyped off people celebrating," he said. "When people talk about celebration, you're not going to outcelebrate me. Roy Hibbert cannot outcelebrate me, so if they want to see some celebration, when we win, I can show them some celebration."

Haha...I'd complain about being focused on the wrong thing if it was anybody else but Noah.

I've never gotten the celebration thing. If it was on their court showing them up in front of their fans, that's one thing. But the Pacers didn't celebrate wildly on the court. Apparently it was because they were celebrating too much in the tunnel and in the locker room. It looks like the Bulls haven't forgotten it though. It will probably be a little more intense than most regular season games tonight.

I'm a bit disappointed that this is still supposedly a big deal to the Bulls. This is the NBA, if someone does something you deem disrespectful, beat them.

Boozer with an air ball from 4 feet and a trampoline hands pass to the other team in the first minute.

and Hamilton is going to the locker room with a hand injury, nice.
