this thread reminds me of the time i made an ass out of myself here by insisting that backloading contracts is inherently bad

i remember getting into a huge argument with you about soriano batting 1st. i don't even remember what side i was on, but i'm guessing i said him hitting leadoff was fine.

i thought that too, but for dumb reasons. i thought that because he had better numbers in the leadoff spot (in a pointlessly small amount of PA), that meant he was actually a better hitter in that spot going forward

Allegations of inappropriate contact with youth about to come out. Always an ugly rumor I've been privy to over the years, but looks like another investigation is underway. If this gets exposed that PSU (and Joe) knew about things and swept them under the rug... well I don't need to tell you how bad that could get.
